I don't have roots. I lived twice abroad, 6 years in the UK and 1 year in Tunisia, Africa. I love being a foreigner, this is so special and feels like freedom. I love that my children live life and experience new people without biases thanks to having lived abroad. What do I keep in my heart from my experience living abroad? The certainty that we all communicate together as human beings so deep that understanding each other's words is not always necessary. I am a single mother. And I love children. I want children since I am 19 years old. When I was pregnant with my first baby, I couldn’t wait to hug her. It was almost painful. I was looking at toddlers playing in the local park with such eagerness. At some point I wanted to be a school teacher when I was a kid. Yes I love children. However, being a single mum is one of the toughest job I ever had. It is not healthy. Definitely. It is unfair. I agree. But when I feel like I cannot handle it anymore, my kids wisely remind me that it is my job to accept things as they are. Not accepting them as a way to promote the situation of being a single mother. But accepting as a way to overcome this challenge. Because you know what?
