Heroes of Might and Magic 2 Review | My favorite entry in the Heroes series
Heroes of Might and Magic 2 is an iconic title, a classic game with great importance in my life. But can it still stand up to an objective analysis 20-something years after its initial release? It is a bit odd talking about Heroes 2 now, considering that it’s been out for 22 years. The length of time isn’t the issue, I’ve reviewed even older games on my channel, but none of those games has had the number of further sequel entries that the Heroes series has, and as a result they haven’t had that long-lasting of a continued footprint in the gaming industry.

Krai Mira Extended Cut is a post-apocalyptic indie RPG game that was obviously built from a deep love of the Fallout games. The game works as something of a Fallout tribute, and does a pretty solid job up to a point. Even though the developers have the technical skills to pull off the gameplay aspects - which are quite important, to be sure - Fallout was much more than turn-based combat and pretty aesthetics.
So I am a bit torn on this title, it is very competent from a technical standpoint but at the same time, I feel it lacks character. So I won't be going back to it, but in case you're looking for some casual-style RPGing in a post-apocalyptic setting, go on further to the Steam page and check it out!

Dawn of War 2 was my initiation and introduction into the Warhammer 40.000 universe. I was aware of it existing as a massively expensive tabletop wargame, but never really knew anything about its incredibly long-running, detailed and rather convoluted lore. Dawn of War 2 left such a good impression on me that it actually got me interested in learning more about the Warhammer 40K universe, and even spurred me into starting painting miniatures.

Honest Hearts is the second Fallout: New Vegas DLC, released in May and June of 2011 on all the platforms that New Vegas is available on. It sees the Courier travel to Zion National Park where you obviously get embroiled in a war between tribes that will decide not only the physical fate of Zion and that of those who live there but you also become the center of the fight for their very souls.
