@2:40 A second, faster flight seems to benefit a bit more from this processing. YouTube eats up a ton of the quality and introduces strange temporal echoing, so overall it's not worth the 4 additional hours of CPU time. I don't have an "Insta360 GO" camera, so I can't tell if this could be of solid benefit to the original video, strait out of the camera. It matters a lot where in the chain of video production; at what step the AI upscaling is done. TL's VEAI seems to use a lot of edges and other characteristics of video that aren't perceptible by human eyes. Heavy video compression removes this imperceptible information, especially as the bitrate gets lower. The resolution seems to matter a lot less than the blockiness of the encoding; after all this technology was adapted from still image techniques.

Finally got to fly while it's snowing actually FPV-visible giant fluffy flakes! The LED light posts in the lot aren't putting out much IR, so the colors look more normal unless you see an incandescent somewhere, like inside the car. Towards the end, I did some quick flights later that night around the hood to show how much fell. Also still needed to kill 6 packs cause of the wet-out that cut my morning lot session short. Then I had another wet-out when I clipped the pine tree and landed upside down, packing snow into the "Tinyhawk S". Fun times... it just won't die! 12 hours later now, there is double what you see in this video on the ground. If I crashed right now, I'd never find it... so we'll give it another go next snow in a plowed area.

Added JST, 5V Beeper, Silicone Conformal Coating and black glint tape (hopefully I won't lose it with all these mods). I modded the Beetle lens for IR / night vision after removing it from the VTX. I used a VTX from a FireFly, cause it supports SmartAudio. I direct-soldered the "URUAV Micro UXII Stubby RHCP" to the FireFly VTX and secured it between the rear props on the bottom.

More Phantom 4 abuse... I tried to hover a few feet higher than the actual shells were exploding, since the prop wash probably wouldn't shield me from a direct hit as it exploded. It definitely kept all the flying sparks from touching the quad's shell or camera though. Surprising that the proximity to the explosions didn't effect the sensors at all... zero damage to Baro either.

Dawn Golden Hour, using a Silverwared Eachine H8 w/ Caddx Beetle.
Mostly just cruising through the steam and enjoying the lens flares.
::Gear List::
Stock Eachine H8 Blue Board (w/ prop guards and other superfluous plastic removed)
^^^ w/Silverware firmware (31.10.16 stock)
CL-0615-17 Coreless Motor ("INSANELY FAST")
^^ This doesn't make much if any difference imho; stock motors feel just as good. Once again, the only thing that made the H8 fly any better is the Silverware firmware, period! They're on clearance, so I tried 'em; https://www.airbladeuav.com/collectio... (coupon code: "CLEARANCE" = $5 for a set of 4x)

The raw DVR from the fatshark is exported via DaVinci Resolve as a TIFF sequence at the original resolution of 640x480. It was then upscaled with Topaz AI Gigapixel ( https://topazlabs.com/ai-gigapixel/ ) and re-imported into Resolve, and scaled where needed. This does take a while to compute... and I'd like to try it at higher resolution via on-board DVR to get rid of the analog video wireless transmission noise. If I can get acceptable HD-ish video from something that is less than 30 grams AUW... I'll be happy.
This is a 2X scale w/ High noise and blur reduction. Next I'll try a 4X scale in daylight.
This is my original inspiration to try this; https://youtu.be/hInQkqmjn48
