Title says it all Boys, girls & Other. In this video Ill demonstrate how to add the devices associated with the client site to said client site in unms. Ill also show you how it pushes the settings out from UNMS to your mikrotik.
***3 Important Notes*** (1, if you have issues getting the plugins to work check the ports their set for.) (2, If users start having issues with Zoom or other streaming services change the que buffer from "4" to "200".. EG under the parent que settings change the "Queue Size" to "200~400 Packets". ) (3, With UBNT you have the option to shape at the cpe. UNMS will push the appropriate shaping rules to the clients cpe even when Bridged. This will help reduce CPU overhead on the mikrotik ;) ) Enjoy.

Lets scrutinize the Dakota Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery pack and see how she ticks.. This battery chemistry is superior to the SLA/AGM/VRLA type batteries we use in our enclosures BUT they have places they belong and there are places they don't belong. So for Heavier loads or colder climates install them appropriately. Use a BMS, Warm your enclosures. But yes. these batteries will outlast your lead acid packs!

I hate hate hate LOATHE!!!!! Recharging aaa batteries. Or changing them!! So wheever I get a new Light I install an internal LiOn & Usb charge port!! Then all I need to do IS plug it in and charge it. Theyll also last way way longer! Its a handy recycling approach for old cells. Remember the voltage range for most Lights are "Alkaline, (1.5v) x2 = 3v, x3=4.5" "Rechargeable (1.2v) x2=2.4 x3=3.6" 3.6~4.2v is the full charge range for LiOn cells making them perfect for the mod!

Today we do some troubleshooting to demonstrate to a manufacturer that there is in fact an issue with their firmware for this lovely products. The NVR is like a router. 2 interfaces. The intent is one interface is for the cams "IPC1" ( Dhcp out) And one to connect it to the client network "Lan" ( Dhcp Recieve ). This is not the case with this firmware release ;) Turns out the server is binding to the ip not the interface 10.0.0.0/X. This caused the NVR to take down an entire network at a large facility. Lets say this piece of hardware made both Myself and the client I was contracted under look very foolish to the facilities IT.
