The Green Hornet is BLK WKS Studio's followup to the Killer Bee. Though the blend is just a bit stronger, to keep with the larger vitola. The first thing you will notice is the candela tobacco used to add stripes to the cap and to make up the closed foot. This candela is blended in with the majority being a maduro wrapper.
The Kato version of Killer Bee is a limited production, event only cigar that everyone always seems to be asking about. It only comes in once or twice a year, so if you want it, come get it now!
Black Works Studio, an offshoot brand of Black Label Trading Co., has announced a pair of new cigars that will only be available at retailer events beginning in March.

The Killer Bee Lonsdale measures 6 1/2 x 42 and uses an Ecuadorian maduro wrapper with a Connecticut linear cap. Underneath that is a Nicaraguan habano binder and fillers from Nicaragua. It is priced at $9 per cigar and also comes in 20-count boxes and joins the original Killer Bee (4 1/2 x 46) and the Killer Bee Green Hornet (5 x 48).
Both of the cigars are made at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua.

HVC Black Friday 2020 Cigar Review | #LeeMack912 (S06 E166)
Corona gorda. habano café wrapper over corojo 99 and criollo 98 binders
AGANORSA ligero, from Chilamate farm in Estelí.
More specifically, it will be a proper 5 5/8 x 46 corona gorda. That includes a habano café wrapper over corojo 99 and criollo 98 binders. The company says it is “went heavier” on tobaccos from the Jalapa region for the binder and the filler. The exception for the filler is the ligero, which is from AGANORSA’s Chilamate farm in Estelí.
Pricing is set at $7.50 and it will be limited to 500 boxes of 50 cigars.
This is sixth year that HVC has made a cigar to commemorate the annual post-Thanksgiving shopping holiday, though this year there are actually two new Black Fridays. The company has already announced that it will be producing a 3 1/2 x 50 Firecracker version for United Cigar Group.

The idea of Rosado was always an intriguing thought. It isn’t common year to year and there are endless selections. Like all things, it was about seeing what selections really existed. Often it seemed like it occurred randomly. This meant that huge amounts of tobacco were consistently purchased and huge investments in sorting and fermentation.
The selection that Jose “Jochy” Blanco had created this with was a Habano Rosado 8 cut from Ecuador—a lovely red wrapper with a huge amount of oils. It has an incredibly intense flavor while being clean and smooth.
The rest of the blend took a great deal of time. Finding the correct selections out of thousands of options was a massive commitment. We made many amazing cigars but kept going every day until the cigar was exactly as imagined.

MI QUERIDA FIRECRACKER

In 2016, Steve Saka’s Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust released a line the cigar world had been anticipating for nearly two years: Saka’s broadleaf cigar.
That line is Mi Querida, Spanish for my mistress, a regular production release made at the NACSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua using a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.
By the middle of last year, the line had grown to seven regular production sizes and this year it got its first limited edition release as part of Two Guys Smoke Shop’s annual Firecracker Series.
The Firecracker Series launched in 2007 with a special Don Pepin Garcia Blue Label cigar: short and with a long strand of tobacco running from the top of the cigar. As the name implies, the cigar was made to look like a firecracker and as such, it was released around the July 4th holiday.
In 2011, Tatuaje released a cigar called M80, which was once again exclusive to Two Guys, and the New Hampshire-based store would eventually release its own private label Firecracker cigar made by Tabacalera Leyendas Cubanas.
Since then La Flor Dominicana, RoMa Craft Tobac and Fratello have been selected as manufacturers for the Firecracker Series. This year marked the fourth consecutive year of a new Firecracker release with Dunbarton slated as the brand.
Two Guys says that the cigar, which measures 3 1/2 x 50, is “front loaded with ligero,” but otherwise features the same blend as the regular Mi Querida.
This is now the eighth vitola for the line.
