So... I have a lot of thoughts on this. Hindsight is 20/20. The guy honking SO CLOSE to me really set off my adrenaline. I wasn't angry, but definitely experienced the 'fight or flight' feeling.
I want to be the safest rider I can be, and I've already learned a lot from this. I welcome anyone's CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, but if you want to tell me what I should've done... instead tell me what you would have done IN THE MOMENT ... honestly... if you were me... or if you were the man in the minivan. We've ALL been here.
And we can ALL be better. I'm trying to be better. I'm hesitant to put this up, but I've learned SO MUCH from other riders sharing their videos, and because I learned from this... I think someone else will also. Even though I know their will be some judgy-no-ideas in the comments... it's worth it. Because I am a better rider now. And someone else is a better rider/driver now. It's your loss if you watch this and learn nothing.
