This video is a short one demonstrating how to circle crop a photo in Paint.net. This can be handy for crafting (scrapbooking and other paper crafts).
The step by step is as follows:
1. Open photo in Paint.net
2. Tools > Ellipse Select
3. Edit > Invert Selection
4. Delete
5. Save as PNG for placement on paper later on

In this video I improvised a recipe card in Inkscape. You get to see my thinking, as usual, therefore the good and bad ideas as I create.
Feel free to create this recipe card for personal use at home.

This video quickly runs you through one way, that I know of, to approach polka dots pattern design (I get this knowledge from my
Ai experience).
This is all in Inkscape. For this video, I wanted to figure how to do
it in Inkscape.
Please note that this is not teaching you all you need to know to have your polka dots pattern commercial ready. For instance, the lines you see between the tiles in the video must go if you're going to upload your pattern on a commercial product or fabric. I won't get into the details but basically just be aware...this video is about the idea/the approach you can adopt and not the full process of getting a seamless pattern ready for sale.
I'm fairly new to Inkscape now and picking up new skills in my spare time. So, I don't currently know yet how to get it commercial ready in Inkscape. As I figure it out, I'll do a follow up video and post it here (we need to get rid of those lines between the tiles, we need to find how to apply the pattern to a shape and scale it up and down as needed, finally we need to have a test upload).Stay tune!
Enjoy!
As usual, don't forget to rumble it if you liked the video!

This video is a timelapse of a thank you wreath done in Adobe Illustrator. Everything was improvised on the go, so here again, you get to see my thinking, the good ideas and the bad ones as I draw and erase. I used a drawing tablet here to draw in Illustrator. The style is rustic black and white and I was inspired by the Christmas season towards the end with the addition of a pointsettia.
Enjoy!
