The big news from last week is that Adobe are killing Flash. Flash has done a lot of good for making the web what it is today, but it has also become very problematic due to the large number of Flash security bugs. So, the death of Flash is good news for almost everybody, but it's especially good news for desktop Linux users. Flash on Linux has always been problematic, so killing off Flash will make life much easier for Linux users.
In this Linux tutorial for beginners, we look at how to use the Linux at command to schedule a job to run in the future. This can be handy for use in Linux administration, when you don't want to wait around to run a job that has to be run after-hours. So yes, the at command can be very handy.

YouTube Advertises a Scam. In this case, it's a classic cryptocoin scam, which asks people to send them some Ethereum. In return, the scammers promise to send double or triple the amount of Ethereum back. I know that most people won't fall for the scam, but some will, and it upsets me greatly that YouTube are allowing this sort of scam advertisement to run on their platform.

Is Linux Secure? Well, yes and no. Linux does have certain design characteristics that make it more secure than Windows, but it can be configured in an insecure manner. In fact, Linux administrators need to know that an out of the box installation on a Linux server is definitely not secure.
