How to transplant plants, vegetables and trees! Bare rooted method!
A very simple way to move some of your vegetable plants around the garden in an emergency. But many plants like brassicas, tomatoes or sweetcorn benefit from being moved at the planting out stage as they like to be set deeper anyways. To simply sow them inside in a holding bed works well and then transplanting them out into the permanent planting spot is one method used by many gardeners. Even when planting trees this is the standard method used. Generally you can transplant nearly all plants in this way, but of course planting depth is important and also when needs to be considered too. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfQf1XfRy5s

Making blacksmith tongs can be challenging at times. So I was trying to think of ways to make the production of a set of tongs a little bit easier and faster, but at the same time not to end up with a weak pair. Forging tongs is a great way to practice our blacksmithing skills and making mistakes is all part of the learning curve. These are not to replace the traditional tongs, but rather to help us beginners to get started and also they should be ideal as a one size only pair that busy blacksmiths can knock out in a pinch.

Very effective method for compost tea making. Whenever I show other organic gardeners about making this great fertilizer, they always feel it is to much work. Little do they realize how great a stuff it really is. So I have been using the way shown in this video for around a year now. I just connected two ways of making fertilizers and came up with this simple method. This then was to make it much more simple but yet still effective

Forge welding is hard enough to do, but if you build your forge well then it almost becomes a breeze. As I am new to blacksmithing there was a lot of mystery to this hole forge weld business. But after persisting with it for the past four month I finally have it cracked. I use boric acid as the flux. It is almost the same as borax just not as good. The forging temperature of high carbon steel is much lower than that of mild steel and finally I managed to fire weld the mild steel as well. This video then is an example of all the struggles beginners go through and is designed to help you to learn from the mistakes I made along the way. I think it will show you how to properly design a forge so you can get the right temperature to get a good stick.
