My garden umbrella broke. So I've decided to repair it with 3D printing.
It's always better to fix things than to throw them away and buy a new one.
The idea was simple, but the 3D printed connector part did not withstand long.
Well now I know how not to do it. In spite of failing miserably I'm smarter now and can find other ways of fixing it.

Today something useful!
Subscribe or you won't have place to sleep tonight!
I have an Ikea UTÅKER Stackable bed and there are holes in the top part of the legs. I cannot sleep because of them so I've designed simple caps to cover it nicely.
Printed with Enotepad Wood PLA 213/60 with 0.4mm nozzle on stock Prusa i3 MK3s. I've used 0.2mm layer height.
The filament itself is a really great option for the money: well packed, good bed adhesion, prints nicely, you can buy some here(affiliate link):

The first part of assembling Original Prusa i3 MK3S.
Like and subscribe so I can go to the next part.
I am just following the instruction provided with the 3D printer and trying not to make too many mistakes. As a result I've reached the end of Y-axis assembly in 2 hours and 10 minutes.
This series will be splitted in parts just as it is in the manual.
In this part I've made 1 errors: Y-axis feet mount technique and there is one tricky part - Y belt tensioner mount.

Today I've designed and 3D printed a Puzzled Lollipop.
Subscribe so I can make more crazy designs.
A while ago one of the viewers asked me to print a candy. I couldn't find anything nice on Thingiverse. So I've decided to design my own lollipop. The idea was to make 10 triangular pieces, which are easy to connect without any glue, just press fit. The easiest way to connect the pieces was to make interlocking mechanism just like in regular jigsaw puzzles. And here you have it: 3D printed Puzzled Lollipop which looks also like a pizza.
You can download the files here:

For printing I've used Spectrum Green PLA and Red 3DACTIVE PLA (temps: 215/60)

Today something useful!
Subscribe or you won't have place for hanging your coat!
I have a Hemnes Storage bench w towel rail/4 hooks from Ikea and there is this rail at the top, which is useless for me. So I've decided to design and print some hooks to utilize the rail. Now I can hang more coats and keys.
Printed with Fiberlogy Black PLA 215/60 and 3DActive Red PLA 215/60 with 0.4mm nozzle on stock Prusa i3 MK3s. I've used 0.2mm layer height.

Time for something useful - 3D Printed Lamp Shade.
Subscribe so darkness won't creep on you.
This is really easy project, just print the lamp shade, buy a bulb holder, wire and you are done. But be careful live wire can kill you, do not play with electricity if you are not sure what you are doing.
