**Title : Las Bola**
Literally translated as the ball, this is some very unique stone architecture undoubtedly inspired by its Costa Rican cousins. Found these in an unassuming garden on Palm Beach Island in South Florida made completely of coral rock. Captured at this angle and scale, it could easily represent a temple to the gods, while in reality no more than 4 feet high.
> The stone spheres (or stone balls) of Costa Rica are an assortment of over three hundred petrospheres in Costa Rica, located on the Diquís Delta and on Isla del Caño. Locally, they are known as Las Bolas (literally The Balls). The spheres are commonly attributed to the extinct Diquís culture and are sometimes referred to as the Diquís Spheres. They are the best-known stone sculptures of the Isthmo-Colombian area. They are thought to have been placed in lines along the approach to the houses of chiefs, but their exact significance remains uncertain.

This is part of my Nebulous Series where I digitally create nebulas in hopes of inspiring imagination, creativity, and curiosity. Each nebula is created individually every day and they are all unique to one another in the series, never repeating. Let's all gaze into the stars together.
> Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. - Stephen Hawking
As part of this series, it is my goal to give back here with Lbry community as well. So, I will be giving one person at random a tip after leaving a thoughtful comment about what this image means to you.

**Title : Gables Of Time**
There is something oddly satisfying about old construction. The final product can be so precise yet imperfect, many times paralleling the human body. These Gables reminded me of the rib cage.
> The whole difference between construction and creation is exactly this: that a thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed; but a thing created is loved before it exists. - Charles Dickens

As a professional artist, entrepreneur, and advocate this event was something I have been wanting to do for a long time. As a kid, I wish I had someone like me as a mentor and with what I have learned I feel it is my duty to share with other individuals (disability or not) on how to work with what we are given. To this day I still do seminars, one-on-one teaching, and speaking engagements to help individuals with disabilities focus on what they can do rather than what they cannot.
The program organizer said – "Together, AutoCricket.com, JasonBrian.com, Single Handed Studio, and The Muscular Dystrophy Association hosted "Art Day With AJ" for young adults with disabilities. The afternoon event was packed with art demos, art displays, do-it-yourself artistry, food, games, and unrestricted access to talk with AJ. This event was a huge success and we look forward to the next program!"
I have always considered myself an old soul. Some of my most early artistic inspiration came from vintage travel posters and postcards. More specifically the work of Kerne Erickson. In my eyes, this art style truly captures what commercial design was intended to do. It truly invokes the feeling of "I want to be there" by combining stunning visuals with the psychological aspect of world travel… Something we all desire as humans.
I have an entire travel poster series I have been sharing. This is the second installment, The Islands of Aloha, featuring imagery from Hawaii. Hawaii is the 50th and most recent state to have joined the United States of America, having received statehood on August 21, 1959. Hawaii is the only U.S. state located in Oceania and the only one composed entirely of islands. It is the northernmost island group in Polynesia, occupying most of an archipelago in the central Pacific Ocean. Hawaii is the only U.S. state located outside North America. The state encompasses nearly the entire volcanic Hawaiian archipelago, which comprises hundreds of islands spread over 1,500 miles (2,400 km). At the southeastern end of the archipelago, the eight main islands are—in order from northwest to southeast: Niʻihau, Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Kahoʻolawe, Maui, and the Island of Hawaiʻi. The last is the largest island in the group; it is often called the "Big Island" or "Hawaiʻi Island" to avoid confusion with the state or archipelago. The archipelago is physiographically and ethnologically part of the Polynesian subregion of Oceania.
Introducing the FishEyez series! Back in 2012, I started this series to highlight some of the most popular tropical fish here in South Florida that also happens to be the best tasting. Always trying to diversify, this is a different more contemporary approach to my artwork. I was inspired by a more pop art focused color scheme and the final product was printed on a floated acrylic which completed the vibrant display. This was the first of an ongoing series that I will be posting in the coming weeks. Much to my surprise, this has become one of my best-selling series of all time. We can find beauty or art anywhere in the world around us, we just have to know where to look. One of the more obvious examples of this is mother nature and the truly breathtaking creatures we cohabitate with.
This is the mahi-mahi. Also known as the common dolphinfish (Coryphaena hippurus), It is a surface-dwelling ray-finned fish found in off-shore temperate, tropical, and subtropical waters worldwide. Also widely called dorado and dolphin, it is one of two members of the Coryphaenidae family, the other being the pompano dolphinfish. The name mahi-mahi comes from the Hawaiian language and means "very strong", through the process of reduplication. Though the species is also referred to as the common dolphinfish, the use of "dolphin" can be misleading as they are not closely related to dolphins (Porpoise) In the Pacific and along the English-speaking coast of South Africa, the mahi-mahi is commonly referred to by its name in Spanish, dorado. In the Mediterranean island of Malta, the mahi-mahi is referred to as the lampuka.
SIDE NOTE : Can you see the hidden surprise in this image? Please comment below with your guess. (HINT : it is hidden in the namesake of this series).
"Motherhood is a great honor and privilege, yet it is also synonymous with servanthood. Every day women are called upon to selflessly meet the needs of their families. Whether they are awake at night nursing a baby, spending their time and money on less-than-grateful teenagers, or preparing meals, moms continuously put others before themselves." –
Charles Stanley. Deep down I think this piece was subconsciously dedicated to my own mother. She is my rock and inspires me every day.
As artists I think we sometimes forget the importance of telling a story through our work. This can be more important than color choice, composition, subject matter… Really more important than anything! Even a poorly demonstrated work with an amazing visual story can still be successful. This dive deep into the psychological connection with what we see as "art". You can almost hear the mama bear explaining how to catch fish to her cub. I have always been guilty of Anthropomorphism : The attribution of human traits, emotions, or intentions to non-human entities. It is considered to be an innate tendency of human psychology. This piece definitely illustrates that.
