*Bird droppings can bleach tops. It is a very common issue in cottage country around the Great Lakes. Sealing the top can prevent costly damage. Take my word for it, you don't want to know what it will cost to replace your soft top. Call for price it ranges based on prep time related to the condition of an older top, the type of canvas used and the products required. *It's not a crazy price point especially when added to a basic detail package.

Frugal Canadian, quality front rotors & pads $81-INCLUDING TAX & SHIPPING! Can it be true?: I was skeptical based on the price point as an entry-level component OE rotors non-coated no cross-drilling just the basic old school rotor adding ceramic pads. My expectations were low however shipping time was amazing (not expecting next day before noon delivery), packaging was proper & clean, rotors packed individually & pads presented in a nice black box labeled with good marketing material, parts were as advertised fit was excellent beyond the traditional jobber parts found on the shelf in the local parts store.
Atom Auto Parts pricing was very competitive at $81.00 tax & shipping included. Sold as a package pair of rotors & set of Ceramic Brake Pads. The backing plates were perfect no shims need and I was able to reuse the factory hardware. They look to be bonded pads with no rivets. Rotors looked like fresh stock plastic packing, not aged clean cardboard. Shipping film/oils were not excessively applied, the cross-hatched finish was consistent with no metal splinter on the rotor's edge. Part numbers stamped on the outer edge looks like the OEM dealer part. The package feels to be of reasonable quality in mass & finish.
This is not a lifetime part but the price reflex that. The warranty seems to be the industry standard & acceptable. I went this way to save time on the installation, I could have serviced the old parts, however, having it all ready to go made it a bolt-on bolt off process was just convenient. Replacing brake lines( the flexible rubber lines) just seemed to make sense as they are 18 years old. The old ones looked OK and could have been reused. I figured the cost was offset by the free labor.

The PT Cruiser is a tall versatile front-wheel-drive hatchback/wagon dressed in retro-styled offering a multi-functional interior, easy access, predictable handling. acceleration is as expected with its naturally aspirated engine equipped with the 4 speed automatic, the PT was certified as a light truck to qualify for lower fuel economy requirements at 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway ratings is accurate. Keep in mind performance for the 3,120-pound hatchback in daily driving is reasonable. Service-related parts are on the lower price point and the technology within should not stump anyone. Insurance is very reasonable based on its class, low theft risk, the lower cost to repair add to that most drivers are on the mature side. The car does have week points and predictable failures. For the most part, they are amenable given the parlance of our time. Maintain your expectations given the market values, timeline as most PT have pasted the 10-year mark and passed ownership may be a mixed bag. *Inspect & do your due diligence.

Not wanting to spend $170-$272 on a replacement dash panel part #RB71WL8AN that typically lists on Amazon / E-bay plus shipping & service charges. I found a nice used dash at a local u pull it, not perfect but a workable part. The old part began developing cracks in the top dash cover last year, which have since split the panel in half as the plastic gets super brittle with age. The entire dashboard does not have to be taken apart to replace the cracked cover and the job itself takes about 30 min. Remove the A-pillar trim using a screwdriver or plastic trim tool. Pull out the control knobs on the heater/air conditioner unit and remove the power window switch. Remove the center trim bezel's retaining screw with a screwdriver and then carefully pull the bezel off. Remove the two screws for the cover as noted in the video. Lift upwards slightly at the disconnected edge of the top cover and slide it towards you to disengage the clips & it slides right out. Restored the interior appeal to the vehicle.
