Took out my new MBX Extreme 170mm magazine for a spin at this local match. It performed flawlessly. That said, I only had 29rounds in the magazine and never tried using 30. None of the stages required it so I did not want to introduce undue stress on my grip and frame.
I started 6 stages at this local match with the MBX Extreme magazine and as you can see no issues so far. I'll do more tests with it and find an opportunity to try 30+1 one day.

The Pointe du Hoc Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to recognize and commemorate the Rangers of 2d Battalion and their families. They organized a USPSA match at the Paul Bunyan Rifle club in Puyallup, WA to raise funds to support the memorial. It was raining cats and dogs but a lot of good people showed up for charity sake.

Competition in the Open division is amazing this year. There were so many really good shooters who have developed their skills over the past year, through regular practice and sheer talent and it shows in the final scores.
If you haven't already, I urge you to give Open a try, it is the pinnacle of the sport and a totally different game.
Big thanks to the COSSA team for putting on a fabulous match with fun & challenging stages.

Didn't think about shooting this match until last minute and it was a good decision. The weather turned out great, 65-70deg F and no rain! Shot an ok match, felt and looked slow. Must find my aggression once again.

Although I came in 5th overall, I am the last of the three Grandmasters. That feels just like being last place in the entire match. That said, Kudos to Ryan and Nick who both have put in so much more work getting where they are, so they deserve to win.
I just need more practice, if I can get any.
Thanks for a fantastic 40 round extravaganza guys! Props to the Custer crew, Matt, Chris, Dan, Floyd, Chaun, Rick, Cyco, Andi, Jim, Jason, Bruce and so many others who made this happen.

We saw all kinds of weather at today's match. Hail, rain, sunshine, wind, the works. Match started out terrible as my dot was all over the place, you can see me shooting really slowly in the first few stages trying to control it. Got better towards the end after warming up a little.
All that said and done, it was just fun to be out shooting with fun people.

Fun season opener at Marysville Rifle Club. It was wet but luckily not too bad. Still trying to work up my speed again after the winter break.
