Sometimes God changes direction on us REAL fast. Sometimes we end up feeling punked and angry that He didn't do things the way He thought we would. Sometimes we get comfortable in a situation RIGHT ABOUT when He says it's time to go. Can't be helped. This is a WAR and the battlefield is adjusting all the time. If we didn't have 20% of the people doing 80% of the work, maybe it'd be different. But you need to see that the Lord feels He can do it to you BECAUSE He's learned that you won't crumble (or He's doing it to test and see if you will). The Queen is the most flexible piece on the board - and also the biggest target for the enemy. If He's using you like that, be ENCOURAGED that He trusts you enough to do that. He's not punking you, He's proving to satan that no matter what you go through, you won't turn on God. It brings Him more glory for you to obey, even when you're mad at God.

OK, so we finally have a schedule for the conferences for 2019. This is a weekend when we basically stop what we're doing to be here for you. There is no charge and you can stay with us or get a hotel/BnB or whatever. You don't have to be here the whole time and these are NOT the only times you can come visit us. More info on the website. Technically a review of the song from Jars of Clay AND the movie from the Kendrick Brothers and Sherwood Films. Technically not a movie review but a concept review. My argument is that being "courageous" as God made us to be HAS TO BE a whole lot more than the BARE MINIMUM of being a good role model and keeping your house in order. In fact, of the MOST courageous people in the Bible, having a good marriage or obedient kids or peace in their home doesn't seem to really happen much! If you're REALLY going to do a moving about being COURAGEOUS why don't you raise the bar and discomfort some folks. I'm sure the movie will raise up better pew sitters, but will it raise up RADICALS? Will it raise up MARTYRS?
