Rolex Daytona Review – Ref 116508 Yellow Gold with Emerald Green Dial
The Rolex Daytona reference 116508 is smoking hot right now. How hot is this gold watch exactly? Watch on...
------------------------
This review is gonna be on the hottest Rolex at the moment. Now, that is the Daytona in yellow gold, reference number 116508 with the emerald green dial.
So it's crazy the way that this whole watch market is right now. I mean, this is a watch that maybe two years ago the retailers could not even get rid of. They would just in there at the ADs and nobody was buying them. But like I've said and I've said it before, green is the new blue!
And all the green dial watches are the ones that are getting the most premium out of all the colors.
http://www.crmjewelers.com - Rolex Day-Date 40 mm Review – vs Day-Date 36-mm and Day-Date II 41-mm
The Rolex Day-Date 40 mm President was introduced by the company in Baselworld in 2015. But why has the release of this watch caused so much controversy?
In this video review, I will discuss the new Day-Date 40 model and compare it to its predecessors, the more traditional 36 millimeter Day-Date and the larger 41-mm Day-Date II.
To start off, I have always been a fan of the Day-Date II, the 41 millimeter high-end Presidential watch of the Rolex brand, which was introduced in 2008 as a much larger and more contemporary version of their 36 mm Day-Date President (at one time Rolex's most prestigious gentleman's model). Since its launch, the 41 mm has always been my favorite.
In fact, I have always felt that the 36 millimeter Day-Date was too puny, even for a wrist size like mine, which is rather on the small side. Furthermore, I consider the 36-mm piece more of a ladies watch and too small for guys. I know many diehard Day-Date fans would disagree with me on this, given that the Day-Date vs Day-Date 2 argument is as old as the hills, but I feel that the trend towards larger luxury watches during the last decade has made the 36-mm size obsolete for men – period!

https://www.crmjewelers.com – How to Buy a Rolex and Not Screw Up
So you've never bought a Rolex in your life? This video is for you then.
In it, I'm going to give you tips and advice on buying your first Rolex watch, so that you don't screw up in the process!
Even though my regular videos are on reviews of different luxury watches, on this video I go back to basics. The thing is that many first-time watch buyers come to our store without any idea of the style or model of Rolex that they should purchase.
Should you buy a sports Rolex model or a dressier, more formal model? This video will help you decide and provide many visual examples to help you along the way.

The first time I reviewed the Rolex GMT-Master II (“Root Beer”) in Everose (rose gold), reference 126715CHNR, it was the most anticipated new Rolex released by the brand in 2018.
Unfortunately, back then there was a lot of hype surrounding the new watch and I couldn't really wear the one I used on the video and take it for a multi-day test drive, as I normally do. The model belonged to a customer that was actually picking up the watch shortly after that.
This time was different! I got to wear the everose GMT for almost a week and get a really good feel for it.
During my initial review in May 2018, the prices for the rose gold GMT were even as high as the mid $40,000s. Insane! Now that the dust has settled a bit and the hype has died down, the watches are near the $33,000 to $34,000 mark, which is not too far from the $37,000 retail price.
So back to my review...even though I think that the watch is beautiful and really like it, I'm still not 100% used to it. I get that feeling every time I look down at my wrist. Maybe in a few months I'll have a better idea if I would like to make this piece a part of my actual collection!

This is my review of a very crazy and cool looking watch, the Jacob & Co. Twin Turbo. Watch it come to life!
The Twin Turbo is one of Jacob & Co's watches that is inspired by the race car theme. As a result, the watch is very sporty looking. It's like wearing a Bugatti on the wrist!
The watch includes both a minute repeater and dual triple-axis tourbillons, thus the official name “Jacob & Co. Twin Turbo Twin Triple Axis Tourbillon Minute Repeater.” That was a mouthful, wasn't it?!
This tourbillon is very unorthodox and cool looking. It includes a sapphire crystal dial that gives you a glimpse of the entire skeletonized movement of the watch. A truly amazing sight to witness, as is the back of this Jacob and Co creation (one of my favorite parts of the watch).
The Twin Turbo also has a 72-hour power reserve and the crown to wind the movement can be pulled out like a crank lever, adding to the overall cool factor in the design. The timepiece is water resistant to 30 meters.
