I often re-read books that really get my attention and make me change the way of thinking. This is why I decided to record this book review, which is from a book I've read a long time ago and but it really changed my life.
This is the book description, extracted from Amazon:
"It's no wonder that The Power of Now has sold over 2 million copies worldwide and has been translated into over 30 foreign languages. Much more than simple principles and platitudes, the book takes readers on an inspiring spiritual journey to find their true and deepest self and reach the ultimate in personal growth and spirituality: the discovery of truth and light.

When You Can't Handle Freedom
Freedom. This is something we all pursue but few of us actually have the balls to handle.
During my life, I've observed a lot of people putting freedom as one of the most things they desire. During their lives, they pursue freedom as if this was the only thing that matters. Either by financial freedom, personal freedom or the ability to work when you want, people get deceived by this talk.
However, when people achieve this freedom that they want so bad, they just can't handle it. They get so lost that they screw everything up so bad. I did this myself. A lot of times.

Legit work at home jobs are hard to find. Especially online jobs.
Working from home is the dream of most software developers. The dream of working from an underwear, without having to spend a HUGE time from on commute, not having to deal with stupid coworkers, etc.
However... if you work at a company, working from home might be perceived not as good by your boss... He might start working some questions like "Why do you want to work from home?", "What do you have in mind for that?" or "I'm pretty sure your productivity will drop if you start working from home".

People Are Asking Me For References... Should I Give Them Out?
Recently, I did a video about if you should give people references. In that video, I talked about the importance of knowing when and how to give references, especially if you're talking about job references.
So, in that video I received a question from a subscriber asking the following:
"John, what about the other way? If recruiters call you and ask for 3 references without placing you on a job, should you give them out? I have declined so far and told them that I don't give references and they've been ok with that because they had lengthy conversations with me and know that I know my stuff - can you do a video on this if possible? Thanks!"
