How Daniel Cormier Spends His Millions! ??
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2a6uvKh-O6g
Daniel Cormier was born on March 20th 1979 in LaFayette, Louisiana. Cormier was an outstanding athlete all through high school, even turning down a football scholarship to LSU to pursue wrestling.
His wrestling pedigree is exemplary: he is a 2-time Pan-American Champion, a 6-time US World or Olympic Team member, a Bronze medalist at the 2007 World Championships in Baku, he came 4th at the 2004 Olympic Games and was team captain of the 2008 Us Olympic Wrestling Team.
Perhaps most impressively, he is one of very few Americans to have won gold at the Golden Grand-Prix Ivan Yurygin in Russia- considered by many as the most challenging wrestling tournament in the world.
In 2008 Cormier decided to pursue MMA, joining American Kickboxing Academy in a typically shrewd move to improve his striking and overall MMA game.
Not every specialist who has decided to pursue MMA has been successful; for every Cormier and early Rhonda Rousey (Judo), there are countless others whose one-dimensional approach to a multi-dimensional discipline has left them stuck as nearly men or women, or just plain stuck.
Crucially, it seems to be the elite wrestlers who are able to transcend into the upper echelons of MMA more than any other single discipline. For unequivocal proof of this one need look no further than a certain Ben Askren, who was able to get pretty close to the top of the MMA ladder whilst having close to zero stand-up game to speak of and an incredibly wrestling heavy attack.
So, what made Daniel Cormier so successful?

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva shows up frequently on most pundits’ lists of greatest MMA fighters of all time. With the longest title reign in UFC history and a record of 34 and 11, Silva’s deep passion for the sport of MMA has led him through some truly difficult ups and downs and has brought him back to the cage over and over again.
Over the years this passion has also proven to be extremely lucrative, turning Silva into a multi-millionare and landing him in the rankings for the highest paid MMA fighters.
With such a long and varied career, how does someone Anderson Silva use the fortune he has gained? And what will happen to this fortune now that he’s on the verge of retirement?
Anderson Silva was already a name in MMA circles before he signed with the UFC in 2006, having fought in Pride FC as well as Cage Rage, but his long career in the organization was definitely the basis for his success. Because of his prior notoriety, he started out with a higher than average purse for a new fighter, at $30,000 to show.
In his debut fight against Chris Leben he also gained a $30,000 Knockout of the Night bonus. The five-figure purses grew over the course of the next few fights until he faced Nate Marquardt in 2007, walking away with his first six-figure purse of $130,000.
Somewhere around his 2010 match with Chael Sonnen, Silva started making at least $200,000 per fight, along with various fight night bonuses of varying amounts before the UFC settled on the customary $50,000 in 2014.
This pushed his purses firmly into six figures. He started making Reebok sponsorship money in 2015 and fight week incentive pay--around $20,000--in 2019.
Infamously, Silva failed a drug test in 2015, rendering his unanimous win against Nick Diaz a no-contest instead. He was fined $380,000 for this infraction and also lost untold thousands of dollars in pulled sponsorships as a result.
So, how does Anderson Silva spend all of that money?
When his star began to rise, Silva definitely made moves to live it up and to bring his family with him. He has lived in a few large houses over the course of his career, most recently a mansion in Palos Verdes, California redesigned to Silva’s specifications by architect Joseph Spierer. The 7,100 square foot, six bedroom, eight bathroom home sits on a half acre with sweeping views of the mountains, as well as the Santa Monica Bay.
With plenty of indoor and outdoor space for Silva’s large family of seven, the house runs on

Former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir is a beloved name in MMA, with the longest uninterrupted tenure of any fighter for the UFC organization from 2001 to 2016. In that time he has had 19 wins and 13 losses and holds the record for the most finishes and the most submission victories in UFC history.
Mir is largely considered one of the greatest UFC fighters of all time, not just because of what the stats say, but because of his incredible comeback story, including a nearly career-ending injury, a remarkable recovery, and a chance to fight back against both his opponents and his personal demons and write a whole new chapter in his amazing life.
Frank Mir was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to parents who owned and operated an American Kenpo school and who took an early interest in making Mir a champion. He became a black belt as a teenager and his father encouraged him to learn wrestling, as it would help him to avoid submissions in his matches. A lifelong athlete, Mir played football and wrestled in high school, as well as competing in track and field.
Mir was scouted for the UFC after meeting UFC matchmaker Joe Silva at a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school, and after winning two professional debut fights at HOOKnSHOOT: Showdown in 2001, Mir signed on with the UFC.
Frank Mir emerged the Heavyweight Champion, but the high of victory and a career on the rise would not be long-lived. A few months after his win over Sylvia, Mir was in a horrific accident, knocked from his motorcycle by a car, leaving him with a broken femur and torn ligaments in his knee.
Doctors told him that he would possibly never walk again, and certainly would never fight again, and his title was vacated due to his inability to defend it. Faced with a career fading away, Mir spiraled into depression and substance abuse.
In 2017, Mir was released from the UFC at his own request, and by August of that year it had been revealed that he signed with Bellator MMA. After three fights with the organization, in 2020 his contract expired, and as of 2020 Mir is a free agent. Rumors persist about where he’ll go next, but nothing is currently confirmed.
It is unclear where a fighter like Mir will go in the future. His is a career that has spanned not only decades, but a push through adversity and an unwillingness to surrender. In a twist of irony, the fighter who is famous for causing his opponents to submit refused to submit when it seemed like his career was over.
He may never have regained the record of his younger years, but Frank Mir emerged from the ashes of his pain and rebuilt his career, and his life. Wherever he chooses to go next, one thing is for certain: no one is going to bring him down without a fight.
