In this video I show you how to prove that P(A'UB)=P(A')+P(A∩B) from first principles. I use the addition rule (https://youtu.be/YuAi5cY7cxY) and multiplication rule (https://youtu.be/Xi2ZfpwmYVg) to get the job done. I could have shortened this video by saying 'P' instead of 'probability' and the quality of the sound wasn't great at times because I used my rubbish microphone by accident at the start, but, the quality of the information provided makes up for all of it. This proof isn't included in ordinary A-Level statistics textbooks. What I always like to do is explain things better than they are explained in textbooks.
