This town vlog is Gloucester, and a very historical place with plenty of it in abundance. All through history, the buildings reflect the periods including Roman, Saxon, Victorian, etc The quayside area is now regenerated into leisure and housing as most are these days. GWR railway has connections here, although I had to come by car because the railway from Bristol had delays of over 1 hour due to maintenance on the line. There are significant shopping opportunities, a mall or two, a market, and numerous good tourist attractions including the cathedral used for filming prominent movies such as Harry Potter. There are plenty of religious buildings, such as St Mary de Lode built on the site of a Roman temple becoming the first Christian church.
