Sorry my tape ran out! I only missed a couple of minutes, but I think they may have been the best part!
If anyone else got this speech, please let me know, so I can direct Abby to it.
Thanks!

I found some nice backing tracks on youtube, so I was just playing along with a couple of them today. This is the result...
I was practicing a few licks, and working on timing and technique. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks to lebifteksauvage for the backing tracks!!!

Standard tuning: EADGBE
I learned this song little by little over the years, so I finally decided to sit down and figure the whole thing out recently. I don't know the solo, but I'm pretty sure the parts I know are right.

This is the second lesson in a series of videos covering basic music theory for guitar. This lesson covers the interval names and the basics of how to apply them to the notes. This is a sort of prerequisite to learning how to build scales and chords. Future lessons in this series will cover the creation chords and scales using notes and intervals. This will also eventually lead into learning about the modes.

Standard tuning: EADGBE Played mostly in C Aeolian mode of the D# Major diatonic scale. There are a few licks in C Minor pentatonic. It proves to be a nice mix of the two scales. The song pretty much stays in one area of the fretboard, so there's not alot of moving around, but it sounds like it's all over the place. Carlos Santana is a GENIUS! IMHO. Sorry it took so long. I have been working on this song for awhile (approx. a month) and it is 100% solo, so it wasn't easy for me.
