With 25 years entrepreneurial experience, Michael has founded 6 companies, overseen 5 acquisitions and 1 IPO, helped make 150 millionaires and created over $6B in shareholder value. Prior to his work at Founder.org, he is probably best known as co-founder and CEO of Splunk. which sells specialized search technology to information technology departments. He is a Computer Science graduate from Drexel University and earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Paul Collier's research focuses on the causes and consequences of civil war; the effects of aid; and the problems of democracy in low-income and natural-resource-rich societies. In the past year Mr. Collier has served as the senior adviser to the Blair Commission on Africa; has addressed the General Assembly of the United Nations; given a seminar at 10 Downing Street; and been invited to meet with Condoleezza Rice on her recent United Kingdom visit.
