This was expected and consensus remains intact that this approach is better than enabling future blocks to be inscribed. Also, we introduce a couple new bitmap explorers presenting the entire bitmap landscape visually and allowing the community to append personalization to the bitmaps they own. Will more explorers like this emerge and what kind of features should they have to create the best experience for new bitmap users?
