Andy's National Trust Travel Blogs: Bath Skyline, buildings and architecture
There are 500+ places of interest in the UK under the National Trust banner and I will be attempting to visit as many as I can, reporting as I do all the important stuff relative to accessibility. In this episode I had a look around at the architecture and building in Bath, near Bristol.
The skyline and architecture are listed as a National Trust place of interest and features in their manual/guidebook.

Badbury Rings is an Iron Age hill fort in east Dorset, England. It was in the territory of the Durotriges. In the Roman era, a temple was located immediately west of the fort, and there was a Romano-British town known as Vindocladia a short distance to the south-west.
Badbury Rings is 327 feet (100 m) above sea level. There are two main phases of construction; the first covered 7.3 hectares (18 acres) and was defended by multiple ditches, while the second was more than twice the size, covering 16.6 ha (41 acres) and defended by a single ditch and rampart. Bronze Age round barrows in the vicinity demonstrate an earlier use of the area.
Until 1983 Badbury Rings were privately owned as part of the Kingston Lacy estate, and the owners discouraged investigation of the site. The site now belongs to the National Trust. A survey of the hillfort by the RCHME was begun in 1993. The summit area was cleared of undergrowth by the National Trust in 1997 and the conifer plantation was thinned out. This allowed the RCHME to complete the survey in 1998, which recorded 28 potential hut sites within the ramparts,[3] although some depressions are probably caused by uprooted trees. The first excavations, led by Martin Papworth, took place in 2004, when three evaluation trenches were dug. Almost all of the pottery found was dated to the Late Iron Age. The current evidence does not suggest that the hillfort was a principal settlement in the Early Iron Age.

19th AUGUST 2017 PART 2
DAY 13
We went to the Hospital to visit Mum #2 who was having surgery to her foot, and would be in another 20 days (and therefore I would not get to meet her). While there, Dad's sister gave me a shoulder massage (I had bad pain and loss of movement to my head turning) and was persuaded to give her 100baht. Another 100 baht went to mum #2 for buying milk.
No matter what you think of the NHS you want to consider yourself lucky. While the staff treat you well, the surroundings aren't ideal, the equipment is 60's to 70's and people are on beds in corridors with their wounds on show.
After this, back at the house, the church members come to see ploy and dew, who are allegedly learning english at their church.
Later we went to meet a subscriber, Jim, JT Sloan, and his thai wife for a lovely evening.

This is my new series of vlogs. I am NOT an expert and I do NOT know everything, so what I say in these vlogs is based on my personal experience or research. I have been a visitor to Thailand for 2 years this month (October), I first went on a "last ditch, what the hell" trip following my failed back surgery. I could hardly walk and took my walking aid with me. I went to Udon Thani to go to an Agency for finding Thai ladies, who suggested that my disablement was not a factor in finding a nice lady for long term relationship. The agency allegedly vet the members and a lot of their clients come from America. The owner is an ex-Brit and his wife a Thai, had started the agency because of their experiences with relationships etc.
So, I have a Thai wife and have been going back and forth for two years. During 2015 my wife got a visitor visa and came to the UK for 6 months. Unfortunately the UK Immigration denied a second visa this year based on made up reasons.
THIS EPISODE: So you crash your hire car (or personal car) OR more often someone crashes into you. What do you do?
Here's a simple guide to the process, obviously it is not definitive and there are other situations where these suggestions are not appropriate.
