Sometimes, we let ourselves feel down because of what we choose to believe. It is hard to keep up with all of the saying, critiques and things people say to us during the course of our life.
However, we must realize that we have the power to let those things affect us or not. We have the power to let those words mark our walls or we can choose to just let them go. And this is what you should be doing... Don't let bullshit enter your life.

"The Like Switch" Book Review
As you might know, I love to read non-fiction books, especially books about persuasion and all this type of stuff.
Recently I came across a book called "The Like Switch" and I decided to make a review about it.
Here is the book description, extracted from Amazon:
"From a former FBI Special Agent specializing in behavior analysis and recruiting spies comes a handbook filled with his proven strategies on how to instantly read people and influence how they perceive you, so you can easily turn on the like switch.
The Like Switch is packed with all the tools you need for turning strangers into friends, whether you are on a sales call, a first date, or a job interview. As a Special Agent for the FBI's National Security Division's Behavioral Analysis Program, Dr. Jack Schafer developed dynamic and breakthrough strategies for profiling terrorists and detecting deception. Now, Dr. Schafer has evolved his proven-on-the-battlefield tactics for the day-to-day, but no less critical battle of getting people to like you.
In The Like Switch, he presents these techniques for how you can influence, attract, and win people over. Learn how to think and react like your favorite TV investigators from Criminal Minds or CSI as Dr. Schafer shows you how to improve your LQ (Likeability Quotient), "spot the lie" both in person and online, master nonverbal cues that influence how people perceive you, and turn up or turn down the intensity of a relationship.
Dr. Schafer cracks the code on making great first impressions, building lasting relationships, and understanding others' behavior to learn what they really think about you. With tips and techniques that hold the key to taking control of your communications, interactions, and relationships, The Like Switch shows you how to read others and get people to like you for a moment or a lifetime."

John... What Is Your Personality Type?
So, the time has come... I know you've all been waiting for this moment. Today I received a question asking me about what was my personality type?
As you probably know, I'm not adept of these personality type tests because I think this is such a difficult thing to do and it is such a fluid thing that it is almost difficult to measure.
However, instead of taking the test and sharing my results with you, I decided to actually record this video while I'm doing this test, so you can see what exactly I thought when doing this test.
So, sit down and watch this video to discover what is my personality type.

Should I Learn Design As A Web Developer?
As a web developer, you have probably heard a lot about design. "Oh, you're a web developer. You should be learning design to make your work even more incredible". On the other hand, you also hear stuff like "Oh, you shouldn't even bother about learning design. You're a web developer. You should only be concerned about coding".
What do you listen? What do you do in these type of situations?
Should you even consider learning design as a web developer? Is design a skill that everyone can learn? Will it even be a good option to choose to learn design if you're a web developer?

Don't Do Things That Can Only Harm You: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOvQDb8MYa8&index=183&list=PLjwWT1Xy3c4XPMBDfK_VvrCBbMa5G0Uyx
"Antifragile" Book Review
Recently, I've joined an amazing mastermind program with Perry Marshall, an amazing guy who wrote Evolution 2.0.
In that mastermind group, we've discussed a lot of things, including this book that I've read a while ago but never done a review on it.
Antifragile is an amazing book for everyone that wants to understand more of life and how events can shape our life.
Here is the book description extracted from Amazon:
"Antifragile is a standalone book in Nassim Nicholas Taleb's landmark Incerto series, an investigation of opacity, luck, uncertainty, probability, human error, risk, and decision-making in a world we don't understand. The other books in the series are Fooled by Randomness, The Black Swan, and The Bed of Procrustes.
Nassim Nicholas Taleb, the bestselling author of The Black Swan and one of the foremost thinkers of our time, reveals how to thrive in an uncertain world.
Just as human bones get stronger when subjected to stress and tension, and rumors or riots intensify when someone tries to repress them, many things in life benefit from stress, disorder, volatility, and turmoil. What Taleb has identified and calls "antifragile" is that category of things that not only gain from chaos but need it in order to survive and flourish.
In The Black Swan, Taleb showed us that highly improbable and unpredictable events underlie almost everything about our world. In Antifragile, Taleb stands uncertainty on its head, making it desirable, even necessary, and proposes that things be built in an antifragile manner. The antifragile is beyond the resilient or robust. The resilient resists shocks and stays the same; the antifragile gets better and better.
Furthermore, the antifragile is immune to prediction errors and protected from adverse events. Why is the city-state better than the nation-state, why is debt bad for you, and why is what we call "efficient" not efficient at all? Why do government responses and social policies protect the strong and hurt the weak? Why should you write your resignation letter before even starting on the job? How did the sinking of the Titanic save lives? The book spans innovation by trial and error, life decisions, politics, urban planning, war, personal finance, economic systems, and medicine. And throughout, in addition to the street wisdom of Fat Tony of Brooklyn, the voices and recipes of ancient wisdom, from Roman, Greek, Semitic, and medieval sources, are loud and clear.
Antifragile is a blueprint for living in a Black Swan world.
Erudite, witty, and iconoclastic, Taleb's message is revolutionary: The antifragile, and only the antifragile, will make it."

In this video, I received a question from a reader telling me exactly this: He is 35 years old and he feels stuck in his life, but he can't change and he has a very bad feeling that he can't get his years back.

Disadvantages: Is It Really Your Enemy?
Some people think I'm stupid. They watch some of my videos where I talk about how people should stop complaining and start doing more. Why they should stop victimizing themselves and start overcoming adversity.
Well, these videos tend to be the ones that generate the most controversy. People point the finger at me and say that I'm a stone cold person who doesn't seem the acknowledge that some people are more privileged than other.
Well, this is my video response to these people. The people that point the finger at me. And this is my opinion regarding the subject.
