After flat out lying to me, Constable Miriam McCabe then calls my sister, however my sister pushes for the truth. Miriam want my parents of 53 years of marriage to separate, which would cause both to deteriorate. Dad's health is very bad, and although mum has been told many times to call an ambulance, she doesn't. After being left without a caregiver when the Police chose to remove my mother, who had the farm to look after also, which dad is unable to do. Dad deteriorated badly, after a couple of days, my sister noticed he was having trouble again breathing, and called an ambulance immediately. He had severe blood poisoning and UTI due to poorly kept cathoder, not being feed, and my sister also took photographs of dad's injuries, which even though the Police were told at the time, they chose to ignore. If dad was to be separated, he would simply commit suicide, which Miriam thought was interesting, me, i find it disturbing. The Police failed to call for an ambulance upon multiple requests from my father whom was suffering distress, anxiety, BREATHING DIFFICULTY, and took mum to Womans refuge and refused to let mum leave. Both my mum and dad are a product of their own enviroment, with dad's poor health, mum cannot cope with maintaining the farm and caring for dad, yet due to pride, will not say she cannot cope to get assistance. The living conditions have deteriorated and we have been asking for help on their behalf without any success, as mum has to be the one to say she needs help, but would never admit it. The GP failed her responsibilities to keep and eye on my father an missed he had blood poisoning which almost cost his life, this will be addressed. The non-association condition of bail has caused major upset, and continues to cause both my parents upset, after 53 years of being co-dependant, this alone could cause serious issues, to which i doubt my father will cope. NZ Police seem hell bent on having them separate, only causing more problems, and Miriams bias towards my father whom has been also physically and emotionally abused is disgusting. Constable Paul Verge chose to not investigate my fathers claims of assault by my mother, even though he has bruising over his arms from my mother. Once the pending assault charge against my father is dealt with, all of these so call professionals will be held and made accountable. NZ Police did not call for any medical assistance, and left a vulnerable adult, alone, without required support. failing their duty of care. Timaru Police will be seeing myself shortly, as they chose the wrong man's parents to mess with, we asked for assistance numerous times, and they did nothing.
