In this video I will show you my process for designing a handwired keyboard with a custom layout and how you can build your own DIY handwired mechanical keyboard. With a 3D printed mechanical keyboard plate, you can create a keyboard that is one of a kind. I will be showcasing every stage of the design process including 3D modeling and programing firmware. The keyboard uses a teensy 2.0 to run QMK Firmware. This build could also be completed with a Teensy 2.0++ This video will discuss the following topics:
How to design a custom keyboard layout
How to build a 3D printed keyboard
How to build a handwired keyboard
Easy way to write QMK Firmware
How to flash a teensy microcontroller

For this video I got to preview the IQUNIX Super 1+1 keyboard (currently available in groupbuy). The IQUNIX Super 1+1 is a 89 key TKL mechanical keyboard A retro looking design and luxurious build quality. In this video, I will be unboxing the Super 1+1 prototype, doing a quick sound test, showing of some of the keyboards interesting features, and then offering some of my thoughts on what makes it unique and interesting.
The Super 1+1 has a aluminum body that looks like a modular frame. The quality of the keyboard parts is fantastic. The keyboard comes with hot-swap sockets making it easy to put together. I also think this keyboard sounds fantastic because of the dense foam that is included inside the case.
The IQUNIX Moonstone Switches were a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed typing on the light linear switches so much, I would consider picking up a set for one of my future builds.
This is not a sponsored video. I have not been paid to make this video. This video contains my experience and opinions of the IQUNIX Super 1+1 TKL keyboard and nothing else. I don’t normally post videos that are just product reviews so hopefully you will find unique keyboard interesting. I would like to have a variety of content available for your viewing pleasure. Please enjoy the assortment of videos on my channel as I work on uploading content more frequently and in higher quality. Thank you for watching.

In this video I will show you my latest 3D printed mechanical keyboard. This time I have designed a split ergonomic mechanical keyboard. I decided to call this model the UFO after deciding to make an Unusual Flexible Ortholinear keyboard. The keyboard uses an Arduino Pro Micro (USBC) to run QMK firmware. The UFO is an ergonomic split keyboard with a layout inspired by keyboards like the ErgoDox and the Moonlander. The finished product features USBC, built in tenting, folding wrist rests (that are completely optional By the way), and a crude but effective backlight. The STL files are available completely free. Just be sure to leave a like on my Printables page and subscribe here on YouYube if you enjoy projects like this. In this video I will be showing you how I built this keyboard and how it works!
