Sergeant Heidenreith was a combat engineer in Korea. He tells of the work of the engineers in building bridges, detecting mines, laying booby traps and, very often, fighting alongside the Infantry. Sergeant Heidenreith has been awarded the Bronze Star with cluster and the Purple Heart with cluster.
