Western tinged psychedelic unit, Spindrift have a new video for the song "When I Was Free." The video was directed by Rob Bray as a homage to photographer Stanley Sanger. Sanger, an enigmatic photography legend led a solitary and mysterious existence. He captured thousands of images of Spindrift in the desert at Hicksville Tralier Palace before disappearing. A pioneer in the timelapse effect, painstakingly shooting each image and developing by hand, this video is animated by Bray with the thousands of images Sanger shot of Spindrift. His lone instruction via a note to friend Rob Bray was "Rob, the image must live, as the moment will die. Always S."
"When I Was Free" will appear on the band's new full-length "Classic Soundtracks: Vol.1" which has been confirmed for a May 10th release date. The album will be the band's first release with Xemu Records who recently released Dead Meadow's "The Three Kings" project and the morning after girls new album "alone". Stylistically diverse, the songs range from Bollywood-influenced funk to haunting psych, stripped down noir to dark country, with a good measure of their trademark rousing western thrown in as well.
Highly cinematic in their sound the band is doing a video for each song on the album or have a song accompanying a film trailer, all of which will premiere on IFC.com. Two videos have already premiered includingTheme From Confusion Range by director Simon Chan and Shadytown (Theme From Hollywood Play Girls) by director JX Williams.
The band is currently on a eight week European tour including stints with Black Mountain, Kurt Vile and Dead Meadow. A national U.S. tour is to be announced shortly as well.

We are Stories Of Solitude, everything is home recorded. Stories Of Solitude has been around for a few years. In 2012 the band merged with another. In January of 2013 Craig brings SOS back as his solo project, while being in the band "Living In Tragedy". The members of Living In Tragedy have decided to merge with Craig's solo project, rendering out what you now know as the 2013 Stories Of Solitude. We are well underway of recording a EP, as well as planning a full length in the summer. "Wounds" Was the first song released under the newly reformed Stories Of Solitude.

Artist Biography: This band was formed by accident over the disappointment that based on the two founder of this band @yzyehz and @a.rusted.anchor caused by their previous bands. Then they both inviting @ranjaubunga, @ frankycandra, and @rosy_candra to join fill the position of guitar and bass. So,we officially formed on September 20, 2014. After deciding to join in a unity at first we five gave the band's name as "Leafs" and managed to record our first single titled "Domestic Blindness" in Hiatus Records who are doing by @malik_s. Unfortunately, after we done to recording the singles and decided to work an EP @ranjaubunga decided to leave the band to focusing his project named @houseofliars. So,after that we change our name to Alstroemeria. Alstroemeria is a name of a Flower from Sweden that bloom at the end of spring that symbolized to a truly friendship and everlasting love. Then,not long after… the empty position is filled by @agamwas former bassist @HessianBlade on bass and @frankycandra switched to guitar position. In 6 months five of us strive and struggle doing our EP titled "Under // Estimate". The EP tells about life experiences we five mixed into one… sad, happy, hardship, struggle, smiles, and tears we shed in every inch of the songs that we wrote. And, finally the EP sucessed released online in digital format on February 14, 2015 and in bandcamp.com, iTunes, and Spotify. And now we are in the construction of doing physical release of the EP, because we see a lot of enthusiasm from friends around who give positivity to our work. We will not stop here, we will continue to write whatever we encounter into a song that deserves to be heard and be a lessons of life for people around us.
