VLOG 38 - How Do You Find Your Creative Flow State?
Flow is different for everybody... and there are different methods for achieving a high level of creativity. You can mix and match depending on your circumstance.
I have been fond of the "half an hour before bed, half an hour after you wake up" strategy when addressing creatively challenging tasks.
Or you can do the long uninterrupted stretches of time... turn off the internet and the cell phone for 4 hours and see what happens.
It's a personal choice based on what works for you.

This is an original song and performance, originally created for Steemit Open Mic Week 35. Last week's splitscreen video was fun, and I wanted to try a fully composed song in that style this week.

Stay tuned for week 36 :-)
Hello pals :-)
This week I wanted to really stretch out into the gnarliest math / prog mode. I was thinking about all that old Zach Hill / Vince Rogers (Tera Melos) drum shit, started out with the drum groove, then a whole song emerged.
What is cool is that it ended up being a catchy kinda thing - the vocals brought it all together.
Stay tuned to the end for a total drum freakout if that's your bag.
cheers!
