We just got back into Saigon and saw all the preparations for Tết starting. The traffic was worse than ever, trucks and scooters loaded with good were everywhere. Thevendors selling goods, flowers, flags, clothes ... were all over .. and more coming as the holiday approaches. January 23-29 are the official observed days. Most people take more days if they can to visit their families. Check out the neighbor's new house, it's really shaping up now. So much finish work is being completed. I think its going to be a pretty nice home.
