There comes a time when someone you know will definitely ask you for references.
"Oh John, could you please refer me on LinkedIn? I would love to get a recommendation from you."
Sure... But only if you do a good job. if you don't do a good job I wouldn't even consider doing it. And you should do the same.
Some people like to give references and give people a mixed review. I consider it pointless since it will only harm the reference for the people and talk bad things about them won't do any good for any sides of this relationship.
Wanna know more about if you should give people references and what is the best way to do it? Watch this video and find out!

How To Beat The Vicious Cycle Of Procrastination
Procrastination is often defined by "the avoidance of doing a task which needs to be accomplished". You need to do something but you just can't. You avoid, you postpone it, and you even self-sabotage yourself so you won't do what need to be done.
Procrastination has become something hyped in our society right now. A lot of people talk about procrastination and there are a lot of jokes on Facebook. However, what a lot of people don't realize is that procrastination is a serious stuff.
All of us procrastinate at a certain level. However, there is what I call the "vicious cycle of procrastination", which is a cycle that draws into a series of actions which you can't simply exit.
This cycle is often followed by guilt, self-punishment, and more procrastination. Are you interested in a technique that will make you beat this vicious cycle of procrastination?

Dexa Scan: Measuring My Body Fat
So, as you probably know, I measure my body fat every day. I'm going through an intense fitness program to gain muscle and lose my body fat. However, recently I've been figuring out that my body fat measurement was kind of "not reliable".
I was using a body scale to measure my body fat but I've been noticing that it was changing and varying a lot on following days.
So, due to that, I decided it was time to step up my game and measure using a more professional measurement technique. This is why I decided to go to a Dexa Scan tend to make this measurement.
I confess I was very surprised by the results. It was not what I expecting. The Dexa Scan is a wonderful tool for those who want to get a precise measurement on your body fat.
Wanna know more about the Dexa Scan and my body fat measurement? Watch this video and find out!

Going From Developer To Entrepreneur (With John-Daniel Trask: Raygun.io)
Most developers aim to become entrepreneurs and the amount of information regarding that transition is still scarce. Most information out there is purely technical.
This is why I decided to team up with John-Daniel Trask, the founder of Raygun, so that he could share with you all the experience he had in going from developer to entrepreneur.
"In 2014 we raised capital to aggressively grow our fastest growing product to date: Raygun (https://raygun.io). Raygun is a monthly subscription product to help companies track software issues directly from their software, whatever programming language it is written in. Customers range from indie developers through to the industry giants like Microsoft, Intel and Nato."

My Professor Is A Lazy Sh*t John! Should I Drop School And Become Self-Taught?
In today's video I've answered a question from a reader of Simple Programmer. He told me about how his professor was a lazy thing and basically said that online courses teach a lot better than he does, so, he just did not do anything.
What should you do in a case like that? Should you continue on your traditional education path or should you change directions and just quit?

How To Negotiate With 2 Companies At The Same Time?
Some developers go through tough times when it comes to changing and finding new jobs. The process can be daunting, time-consuming and very stressful.
Most developers end up accepting the first offer that comes up, afraid that they would not be able to get any better. This fear leads most developers direct to accepting not what they're worth but what they think it is the maximum that they can get.
