Well, after being gone for a few days, so much has happened it’s hard to know where to begin. Probably the most important development has been the invasion of Russian troops into Syria. According to the New York Times, Russia is now flying in military equipment through an air corridor over Iraq and Iran and landing it in a newly-constructed air hub the Russians have built south of Latakia, Syria. The new hastily-constructed Russian air base is the most significant new Russian foothold in the Middle East since forming an alliance with the terror theocracy of mullahs that rule Iran. American intelligence analysts report that at least seven giant Russian Condor transport planes have began ferrying, Russian T-90 tanks, howitzers, and armored personnel carriers to the new air base that now has housing for 1500 new personnel. The Times is playing the story like this is causing great concern in the Obama administration. This is nonsense. You have to remember that both Obama and Hillary Clinton came out of the same hard-left – even communist – cells of Chicago politics. What we are seeing here is that Russia is now being handed the vast oil fields of the Middle East. They now surround our three major allies in the region, Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Obama is doing nothing effective to stop it -- no, he is hiding his anti-Americanism behind the covers of the give-peace-a-chance crowd and this will irreparably change the face of the geo-political structure of the world before we can replace him on Jan. 20, 2017. Trading was shut down for the day about 20 minutes into the Jan. 7 morning session as automatic circuit breakers kicked in after losses hit 7%. However, so steep was the dive that before the circuit breakers could bring trading to a halt, the market was down 7.32%. Again, trading was halted about an hour ago in China, where it is now Thursday, January 7th. The impact of this second day-long shutdown of the Chinese market is difficult to assess, but it will likely be more severe than the crash in China on Monday. The effect of Monday’s shut-down in China precipitated a 700 point drop in the New York Stock Exchange this week. One of the possible causes for the drop today was the World Bank came out with a new forecast for economic growth in 2016 & 2017. They dropped their World GDP growth target from 3.3% down to 2.9%. The reason for the stagnant growth prospects for the world is that the world is simply swimming in debt. In a debt money system, where all money is created by banks when they make loans, there appears to be a limit to how much debt the world can absorb. The problem is that when the debts are created, the interest on those debts is not created, therefore in order to keep the system afloat, more and more debt must be created to service the interest payments on the previous debt. It’s a literal financial pyramid scheme that is absolutely doomed to failure. I know it’s hard to understand, but this is the fact of the matter, despite the fact that the mainstream media is not telling you this. Why? Because they are all in debt up to their necks and can’t afford to anger the big banks who loan them money. Will the system come crashing down this week – tomorrow? Next week? No one knows. We are moving into unexplored territory. Compounding interest is choking the life out of every nation on the planet. Fortunately, there is something we can do. Every nation should start reissuing debt-free money, issued by their sovereign governments and gradually feeding it into the system to buy up existing debts, until they are all paid off. Then never give banks the privilege of issuing your national money again in a way that is nothing short of counterfeiting. I can’t tell you how fast this money should be injected into economies, and if we do face a massive crash scenario that complicates matters. But in any case, as the new debt-free money goes into the economy to pay off existing government bonds – which is how governments borrow – then nations need to gradually get off the borrowing addiction so that in the end, government borrowing should be forbidden and all money comes into the economy by being issued by the government without debt. Then when banks make loans, they can only lend out money they actually have, which may or may not include the value of their assets as well as cash or cash equivalents. There are many alternate routes to try and different nations will try many different variations and the best at restoring calm and prosperity will be the ones all nations end up adopting. So remember, when it comes to solutions, there are just two things to remember: 1. You must end up with government-issued, debt-free money, and: 2. Governments can no longer be allowed to issue bonds to create debt – or borrow any money at all. Governments must be put on a pay-as-you-go basis. If they need more programs then they have money to pay for it, then they need to cut the program to match available money, or they need to raise taxes immediately to pay for the new programs.
