Making blacksmith tongs can be challenging at times. So I was trying to think of ways to make the production of a set of tongs a little bit easier and faster, but at the same time not to end up with a weak pair. Forging tongs is a great way to practice our blacksmithing skills and making mistakes is all part of the learning curve. These are not to replace the traditional tongs, but rather to help us beginners to get started and also they should be ideal as a one size only pair that busy blacksmiths can knock out in a pinch.
