Thailand Adventure 3: day 22 Part One (last day, hotel check out, airport run, KKC to BKK)
This is my 3rd documented trip to Thailand to tour the vast country, to visit family and meet people.
Part one of three.
The morning was spent packing my case although I had very little because my previous journey had all of Tad's stuff from the UK, which left little space for my stuff.
After a brief lunch we went back to check out, heading off to the airport.
Following check in we had a brief trip to the restaurant and said our farewells.

A very lovely lunch, we ate good food on the banks of the river.
Following this we took a drive around chiang mai (see special episode for the centre and temple visit) and returned back to the hotel.
Later we ordered in via help from the staff and also did a livestream from the hotel foyer / restaurant.

This episode sees us searching for hotels, and finally booking into the casa de lua, 850 baht per night and a very nice friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us.
The hotel is listed on the usual suspects, although not booking.com (as far as I know).

At the beach today, found a great quiet spot north of Hua Hin, unspoilt stretch of empty sand and sea. The beds were 100 baht a day and had shade, etc.
Food and drink vendor on site, and not too many hawkers. I did succumb to a shirt seller and bought 2 for 550 baht.
