EDIT: I missed a line in my script, Corn was bred from a grass to a cob by Native Americans but spread across the world after the cultivation by Europeans.
Have you ever wondered what the origins are of the common foods we eat today? Most of the foods found in the grocery store at one point were much smaller, bitter, sour or unpalatable. Let's get into this first off at number 10 we have corn.

Did you know there is a golf course surrounded by immense danger? On this episode we’ll take a look at the World’s Most Dangerous Golf Course.
Camp Bonifas is the United Nations Command Security Force base camp located just 1300 feet or 400 meters south of the southern border of the Demilitarized Zone, just below the North Korean border. Over the years various numbers of troops have been stationed here, at one point more than 700. This base is quite strict with it’s rules not allowing much freedom including not allowing family members to stay with the troops. As the American soldiers became bored with the lack of fun activities they decided to build a golf course. After taking a look at what land they had available they realized they’d only have enough room to build a single hole. This par 3 golf course as it’s stated has 1 hole measuring 192 yards or 176 meters long. A wooden footbridge leads over to the tee box. The tee box itself sits 50 feet 15 meters above the fairway on top of an old machine gun nest. On both sides of the fairway are 6 foot or 2 meter deep trenches that lead to the green. The green is surrounded by sand and military bunkers. This par 3 is apparently so difficult to par that Staff Stg. Derrick Meisenheimer, an avid golfer stationed at Camp Bonifas, has only done it once. The green is hard as a rock and rarely holds a golf ball that lands on it.
This narrow golf hole is surrounded by Camp Bonifas on one side and a live minefield on the other. For this reason, as it's stated on a wooden board upon entering, retrieving out of bounds golf balls is incredibly dangerous and not recommended. With that said it has been stated that a foul shot into the rough has caused one landmine to explode. If golfing beside live landmines at the border of North Korea isn’t dangerous enough, it’s said wild beasts lurk in the woods. Golfers claim to have spotted wild boars thrashing through the woods as well as vampire deer have been spotted. What’s a vampire deer you might ask, these crazy looking deer that look like a mix of bambi and count dracula. There have even been claims that Korean Tigers have been spotted, which is highly unlikely as the Korean Tiger or more commonly known, the Siberian Tiger was last seen in Korean in 1922. It’s believed that there are only 400 Siberian Tigers left in the wild and all of those are in remote parts of russia.

10. Edible Beef Jerky Underwear
This disturbing gift was originally posted on etsy as brief jerky then instructables.com posted a full step by step process on how to make these delectable undergarments. If $140 is too much for some brief jerky then making them will be your next option. You’re going to need some beef, soy sauce, hot sauce, liquid smoke, 3 slim jims and spices like onion powder, celery salt, red pepper flakes salt and pepper. After mixing, rolling, dehydrating and hand crafting you’ll end up with quite possibly the most disgusting gift someone would ever receive. But hey just think after these have been worn for a while they’ll have a little extra added flavor to them...

World’s Deepest Swimming Pool
hotel terme millepini pool
Located at the Hotel Terme Millepini in Montegrotto Terme, Italy is the world’s deepest swimming pool. That’s right this swimming pool is in a hotel! This 4 star hotel in Italy features 100 rooms which are priced around $100 to $200 a night. Now it may seem bizarre that a hotel pool is so deep but if anything it’s a brilliant plan for tons of free marketing and publicity.
The world’s deepest pool holds 1,136,000 gallons or 4300 cubic metres of water which is kept at a comfortable 90 degrees fahrenheit or 32 degrees celsius. This allows divers the freedom of diving without the need for a wetsuit. This pool isn’t just a deep tube, it has a large open square shape with underwater caves and a tube running through the middle of it where non swimming viewers can sit and watch. The pool is an ideal place to teach people scuba diving with platforms at 4.3 ft or 1.3 meters, 39 feet or 12 meters and the very bottom being at 131 ft or 40 meters deep. This is the equivalent of a 14 story building deep. Crazy right? The hotel offers tickets to free dive and scuba dive. The pool was opened on June 5th 2014 and awarded the title of Deepest Swimming Pool for Diving by the Guinness World Records. The previous record holder was the Nemo 33 pool in Belgium at a depth of 113 feet or 34.5meters. It has been stated that some people are too afraid to swim in the pool because of it’s depth but this is ridiculous considering any lake or ocean would be significantly deeper, who knows maybe those people don’t swim there either. The Y-40 pool as it’s called was designed and built by architect Emanuele Boaretto with the support of the “Boaretto Group Hotel & Resort”. The pool is open most days from 3 pm to 10 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 10 pm on weekends and costs $40 to swim alone or $65 with a guide. There are also a handful of classes that one can take so if you’re into diving this is the place to be.

Born from a mix of volleyball and gymnastics is a new sport that’ll work up a sweat. On this episode we uncover Bossaball.
This one of a kind new sport features a volleyball style courtwith 2 trampolines, 1 per side. Around the trampolines are inflatable mats to cushion the fall of any hit. Each teams consist of 3-5 players and a mix of male and female players. Upon receiving the ball after a serve the team can hit the ball 5 times before they have to return it over the net, unlike volleyball where you only get 3 hits.
Another rule that differs from volleyball is that you’re allowed to hit the ball twice if you are using your feet or head. After each point a team makes, the team rotates clockwise so everyone gets a different position and gets a spot on the trampoline. Serves can be made using any part of the body as long as they are ‘creative’.
Check out this sweet backflip kick, right over the net. Scoring is a little bit different then volleyball, 1 point is scored when the ball hits anywhere around the trampoline and 3 points are scored on the trampoline. There is no time limit with Bossaball, the first team to reach 25 points wins the game. Games are played in best of 3 or best of 5 sets.
