Somehow I managed to get through an entire hour on the topic of Christmas and persecution of Christians and...lots of other relevant topics! Hope you find it useful. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zv9Nk0zwXkk
Spent a good portion of time talking about why people "swim the Tiber" in light of Cameron Bertuzzi's stating that he is closer than he has ever been to embracing Rome's claims (though, he says, he is still "far away"). Realized while we were doing the program that this month marks the 30th anniversary of my first public debate which was against Gerry Matatics, then of Catholic Answers, on the subject of sola scriptura in Long Beach, California. I am, obviously, getting old (I was a ripe old 27 at the time---younger by four years than my youngest child currently). Anyway, we then looked briefly at a Steven Anderson video on Hosea 11:1 and the Greek LXX, providing more information than Anderson did, and finished up listening to an answer to an audience question Frank Turek provided regarding the subject of Molinism. No more programs this week as I am headed to Arkansas, but we plan by God's grace to be back next week! Visit the store at https://doctrineandlife.co/ Visit the store at https://doctrineandlife.co/

Did about twenty minutes on the Eugene Peterson controversy regarding gay marriage, etc., and then moved into a rather full response to the James Simpson interview on the Janet Mefferd Show. Played entire clips from the interview and responded, fully, to the politically-based accusations from Simpson, and then played Janet’s objections and responded to them as well. I really appreciate Janet Mefferd’s willingness to allow me to respond to her audience, and I hope she will listen to this as well. And, if either she, or James Simpson, wish to respond to my audience, please contact us. We’ll be glad to reciprocate!

Spent most of the program today listening to Ahmed Deedat and taking apart his horrible arguments against the crucifixion. We got to the point where we are ready to tackle his thirty arguments against the crucifixion “from the Bible.” We will discover his arguments have very little to do with any honest or meaningful reading of Scripture at all.

Talked a little about the "He Gets Us" thing, gave a brief report on the Allie Beth Stuckey Show from Tuesday, then dove into the Protevangelium of James and read its narrative of the birth of Christ in light of the defense of this document as containing genuine Christian tradition by Roman Catholic apologists. We then moved on to discuss The Invention of the Inspired Text by John Poirier and his actual goals in writing his book. Don't know when the next program will be as I will be heading off to Tullahoma next week for the Why Calvinism conference, a debate, etc. Watch the app for announcements!

First hour or so I was joined by Pastor Tobias Riemenschneider, one of the framers of the Frankfurt Declaration (Frankfurtdeclaration.com). We discussed the declaration, its purpose and function. Then I responded to Dr. Craig Carter's inaccurate and unkind comments posted yesterday, once again focusing upon the real issue that is coming out of the development of this "Great Traditionalism." Nearly two hours today!

John Samson continues teaching on the doctrine of justification by faith alone, the imputation of Christ's righteousness and how Paul and James compliment each other on the matter.

First 45 minutes drew on a number of articles I've clipped over the past week on the rise of the Big Brother state. Big Brother is here...but who knew he'd be gay? (Actually, Orwell called that one, too: remember that section in 1984 where the was explicit discussion of the destruction of the family in the form of husband/wife relationships so that each person would be dependent completely upon the State?). Looked at Campolo's collapse (I honestly thought that was old news), and then, toward the end of the program, moved back to ol' Anjem Choudary.

Back to on-the-road status for the program today! We covered what's going on tomorrow and in the upcoming days, then looked at a tweet from @Cernovich wherein he demonstrates he has never done serious reading in the topic, and then finished up the hour looking at a key section from Carl Trueman's presentation (which we began reviewing over the past few weeks).

Walked through the argument presented by Eerdmans on Twitter in defense of its promotion of the LGBTQ agenda, and then looked at Will Hess and his comments about unitarianism, looking at John 1:1 and other important issues.
