entr is a piece of software (available for all LINUX and UNIX based operating systems) that you can use to run commands when files change. Really useful for recompiling LaTex documents, compiling software when source changes, etc. entr is available in most disto's package repositories.entr has a very good man page, `man entr` which contains some nice examples and detailed description of the available options.
In this video, I showcase a basic usage of entr using LaTex recompilation as an example. I also showcase my dwm status bar configuration using entr.
