How do I strip my car paint to metal is the question I was asked. This is going to vary on they type of project you're working on ( #restoration, one or two panels, complete paint job) and the reason it may need to be stripped. And there are a lot of opinions on what people prefer. In this video I am going to help answer the question with my opinion. Next we will apply fiberglass filler to the section seam and seam sealer to the remaining locations.

This video demonstrates how to spray #matte black paint. The paint we're using is a single stage paint. This means that it does not require a clear coat to be applied on top of the paint.
We are using a brand called Hot Rod made by Keystone Automotive. They have several different colors available in flat and matte colors.
The directions state to spray a full wet coat followed by a medium wet coat with 15 minutes flash time between coats.

Cracking crowsfeet in paint is what we are dealing with in this jet boat video series. Crows feet aka cracking, or checking is when a cured paint surface has cracks in it. This can be caused by excessive UV rays, paint coating too thick, not enough hardener or improper mixing materials, or insufficient flash time when applying the material.
