bundangbear and hippietrucker67 search for the Milwaukee serial killer! Yes this is a parody vid. Much of our banter contains inside jokes and outright funny lies--I have lived in Milwaukee, for example, it is not my first time here.
MADISON, Wis. Legislators demanded to know Wednesday why an alleged serial killer's DNA sample never made it to crime analysts and what state police and prison officials are doing to make sure swabs from other convicts make it to the lab.
Police arrested Walter Ellis on Saturday after they obtained DNA from his toothbrush that they claim ties him to a string of cold-case homicides in Milwaukee from 1986 to 2007. He made his initial court appearance Wednesday and was ordered held on a $1 million bond on two counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
Ellis's attorney, Alejandro Lockwood, could not immediately be reached for comment. Prosecutors said more charges could come Thursday.
Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn has suggested that if investigators had Ellis' DNA profile sooner they might have identified him and prevented at least one death.
