My erstwhile brother-in-law showed me a video of the NYC Firemen paying homage to the people of their city and the people of the United States. The fleet of Firemen stood by their trucks as one of them stood atop a car playing the National Anthem on guitar. He requested I do the same. I used to do a very cynical version of this but there are two ways to look at the Anthem, one is in regards to American Government (which leaves little to be desire these days) or the American people, for whom I have a great love. So this simple, non-cynical version goes out to these people who form the bedrock of a country that, once-upon-a-time served as a beacon of light for the world. The piece following, Finale in D, is something I used to do to end my looping shows.
