We all decided to explore a local village where they were preparing the Pagoda for some kind of event. I wasn’t exactly sure. There were monks and musicians and temple goers all there. Placing decorations and then praying before they left. Afterward, we all went to the mountain overlooking the city where many of the local villagers go to eat and watch the sunset. It’s a very popular place. There were so many people up there enjoying time and eating with friends and family. When we were done, we went back to the Pagoda and found out what all the preparations and decorations were for! It was amazing! All the villagers were so happy to see us enjoying their culture and we danced our white boy asses off! It was like a full on block party! The whole village was there! Children and adults alike all dancing around the shrines. They had a large sound system, playing EDM music! ? It was absolutely epic to see!
