"God's Debris: A Thought Experiment" Book Review
So, here is another book review, today, with kind of a different book. Today I'm going to review "God's Debris". I decided to read this book because I was interested in knowing more about that subject. very well covered by this amazing book.
Here is the book description extracted from Amazon:
"Explore the mysteries and magic of the cosmos with the acclaimed creator of Dilbert.
God's Debris is the first non-Dilbert, non-humor book by best-selling author Scott Adams. Adams describes God's Debris as a thought experiment wrapped in a story. It's designed to make your brain spin around inside your skull.
Imagine that you meet a very old man whoâ€"you eventually realizeâ€"knows literally everything. Imagine that he explains for you the great mysteries of life: quantum physics, evolution, God, gravity, light psychic phenomenon, and probabilityâ€"in a way so simple, so novel, and so compelling that it all fits together and makes perfect sense. What does it feel like to suddenly understand everything?
You may not find the final answer to the big question, but God's Debris might provide the most compelling vision of reality you will ever read. The thought experiment is this: Try to figure out what's wrong with the old man's explanation of reality. Share the book with your smart friends, then discuss it later while enjoying a beverage.
It has no violence or sex, but the ideas are powerful and not appropriate for readers under fourteen"

"The Inevitable" Book Review
Today we are going to talk about an amazing book, called "The Inevitable". This is a book for everyone that wants to learn more about technology and how these forces will shape our future.
Here is the book description, extracted from Amazon
"Much of what will happen in the next thirty years is inevitable, driven by technological trends that are already in motion. In this fascinating, provocative new book, Kevin Kelly provides an optimistic road map for the future, showing how the coming changes in our lives-from virtual reality in the home to an on-demand economy to artificial intelligence embedded in everything we manufacture-can be understood as the result of a few long-term, accelerating forces. Kelly both describes these deep trends-flowing, screening, accessing, sharing, filtering, remixing, tracking, and questioning-and demonstrates how they overlap and are codependent on one another. These larger forces will completely revolutionize the way we buy, work, learn, and communicate with each other. By understanding and embracing them, says Kelly, it will be easier for us to remain on top of the coming wave of changes and to arrange our day-to-day relationships with technology in ways that bring forth maximum benefits. Kelly's bright, hopeful book will be indispensable to anyone who seeks guidance on where their business, industry, or life is heading-what to invent, where to work, in what to invest, how to better reach customers, and what to begin to put into place-as this new world emerges."
