Vapor Blasters are incredibly helpful tools to have around. Sometimes, dry media has a little more bite to it for removing stubborn coatings or rust.
I used a few parts from stock and the waste bin to put together a pressure feed on the bottom of the cabinet, swap out the gun for a better model, and add a foot pedal.
In order to test the cabinet, I took an old Kawasaki spanner, sandblasted the rust and zinc plated it.
Got a little sidetracked today. My brother had someone coming to look at buying one of his old cars. The hood hinge had rusted and locked up. Over time it work hardened and bent the hood before, itself, breaking.
The buyer was unexpected so we didn't have time to find a replacement. Instead, I freed it up with the vapor blaster before welding it back together and giving it a paint job.

I ran into some engine issues over the weekend on my daily driver. Its been a while since I spent any real time working on non modified vehicles. So I wasted the better part of a morning trying to work out what was wrong.
After watching dozens of videos, and reading over a handful of forums, I narrowed down the potential issues.
I put this video up because if I had have known this before, I would have saved myself hours of time.

Got a moment to begin stripping down the compressor for a refurb and knocked up a basic TIG trolley while the weather was off.

I built this vapour blaster gun for about 20$ using the existing ceramic tip from a low cost sandblasting cabinet.

Recently here in New Zealand, there has been an uptick in people converting the sb200 style sand blasting cabinets, which has resulted in a demand for some add on products to solve some of the issues that arise as a part of these conversions. Two of the products I have come up with are a drop in lighting solution, and a bolt in window rinse bar.
Thanks for watching!

This is a project I have attempted a number of times, all ending in failure until now.
I always had a feeling that these cabinets had potential, and thats why I kept trying. This time I thought had also ended in failure, until by pure luck, I swapped in one of my 3d printed nozzles at just the right point in time. With a few extra tweaks I got the SBC-100 cabinet functioning as a vapour blasted with very minimal modification and without cutting or drilling at all.
Future parts will cover the additional modifications you can use to improve your blasting experience should you go down the path of converting one of these.
