Reactivate 16, 17 & 18 all get flack for not being hard enough. But it's a just a stylistic transitional period. And there's some of the "party like it's 99", Mitsubishi friendly, big melody, early-millenium-style trance (which was so popular it went overground leading to much stale cheese being made...). NONE OF THAT CHEESE IS HERE THOUGH. The melodic trance is plenty underground, but there's loads of much deeper vibes, along with the darker, and more minimal 2000-style tribal trance. Reactivate 1-18 are each classic compilations, each showcasing something worthwhile. Some better than others, some are immaculate and brilliant (Ask 180 ravers from Gen-X to early Gen-Y, their favourite and you'd most likely get all 18 at least once, with 1-12 being the most beloved).
The final 3 volumes are part of the Reactivate legacy, bringing a quality selection of up-to-the-minute anthems & lesser known underground tunes to the masses. I was about to say I miss this series...but I've recently heard it made a 2019 comeback (To be Continued......) Mark Skelton (no relation to Les...so they claim haha!) a more technical DJ. I'm officially on a bittersweet Niche Nostalgia-fest...And it's led me to this gem of a tune I've been searching for at about 48:00 I only heard it 3 times in my life 1996-2000, whenever I asked it was "IGA feeling" or more informatively "White label" by "Unknown". I apologize for the sound quality in the others, this ain't bad & the Danny Walker mix sounds great .
Classic anthem by Bruno Sanchioni, ⅓ of B.B.E ("7 Days and 1 Week"... which you can very easily tell if you play the 2 back2back)& Giuseppe Chierchia, a guy better known for that much sampled disco tune (the one in "Getting Jiggy With it" and "Don't call me Baby"... Ring a bell? Don't ask how I know that ... just... don't ok? ???).
Classed as *"the first trance tune ever made",* which it pretty much is, from way back in 1990. It sounded great then; great in 1992 when Jam & Spoon 's "Watch out for Stella" remix updated for the millions of new ravers (which I included because many ravers aren't aware that's not the original version), it's been great all the times it's been remixed, whether the old skool or the new versions (the only thing out of sync is the description of THIS Particular "age".
More "the age that needs love".

Mayday was the amazing twice-yearly event that blew all other events out of the water for ravers looking for a non-stop mental BANG-A-THON. Non of the eclectic, chilled, & (good but out of place) event slots at events like at Tribal Gathering. This is the Event that Creamfields & Global Sound System wish they were, and that even Love Parade looked up to.
ALL DJ's @ Mayday play their very hardest, most mental & rare bangers. I wish I had gone to this instead of Ibiza (if ever there was a reason to choose Germany over Spain, as a holiday destination hahaha!)
This upload includes sets from Carl Cox, Daz Saund, Blu Peter, Marusha, DJ Hooligan & highlights from Members of Mayday's live performance.
I fucked up while downloading a load of wicked 90's/early 2000's Ultra-hardTrance/Nu NRG sets and selected the wrong format without the video stream, or title. This was one of the first I downloaded & easily among the best. By the sound of it, it's from between 93-2005 by a very bangin' DJ ... If that's any help.
Trust me tho, details or no, it's head twattingly good!
Originally released in physical format in 1998. The tracks were digitized and digitally reissued, with the addition of the 5th, bonus track "Mezzadroid" (as "Mezza-Droid") on 26th October 2011. In both cases the release was exclusively available to members of Eat Static's official fan club, called "The 4th Dimension", via the project's web-page. Track 3 was titled "Energize".

Orbital's limited edition U.S release of In-Sides, is a triple disc epic, the Bonus disc being "The Box" E.P (which reminds me, I've got a few rare remixes of "The Box" & "Halcyon", we'll get to them later, + the 1999 Orbital L.P "The Middle Of Nowhere"). Although I'm pretty pro-America regarding the ppl that live there (minus Commiefornia), not their filthy corrupt fed govt, & while Orbital are objectively awesome, I can't help but look at the extra hour of "In-sides" Americans got and think of the Hartnoll bros as pair of bald headed FUCKING TRAITORS ...

Nice mellow Demo set of liquidy ambient progressive tech-house from a lable that's scouting for talented DJ's & producers in this sort of genre. I'm not really sure this is "deep techno", but I've been through their sets & there's some real variation in tempo & style. If you 're looking for a home record label, or know how to rock the turn tables...
