Cindy rejoices for car donated & fixed - 11/20/20
A local family donated this cute little Kia. Their son drove it all through college. It's got LOTS of miles (about 300K) and needs some plastic fenders on the back - but the big problem was that the rear struts were used up. If you drove more than about 50 miles per hour it would bounce itself right off the road! But a local auto shop, Looper's, fixed it for free with parts from the ministry - and we were able to pass the car along to a brother in need that has been on foot for a long time. It's an important part of the Gospel to care for one another, to lift burdens, to help people find LIBERTY - and only being able to work whatever job is within walking distance is NOT Liberty!
Your donations do a lot - they get people to work, they house folks in need, they help us go collect food from grocery stores and restaurants, they feed a lot of hungry people, they help us reach out all over the world. Thanks for all you do. Please pray for us - for the folks that donated the car, for Looper's for fixing it, and for Mike that will get to be the next steward of it.

I had a pastor tell me he ONLY preaches the Bible, never adding anything or taking away anything. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! NO, YOU DON'T!! Nobody does!! People teach what they see in the text or have been told that it says - sometimes by whom they know not! In this video I just mention a VERY few of the assumptions that we often go along with, thinking they are facts when in fact, they are ASSUMPTIONS or beliefs about the text but ARE NOT actually there.

This was a project that only took about five hours. We assembled a second greenhouse, used our donated pallets for a sidewall and ended up with twice the square footage and about three times the cubic footage. Plus now we have work tables all around and room for taller things, maybe even aquaponics. (We'll see.) In total we have spent less then $500 on this greenhouse.
