Conversations host Harry Kreisler welcomes Professors John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago and Steve Walt of Harvard University for a discussion of how domestic politics influences the making of U.S. policy on the Middle East.

Conversations host Harry Kreisler welcomes Professor Donald Kennedy, Bing Professor of Environmental Science at Stanford University. Professor Kennedy offers his reflections on research and teaching in the biological sciences. He analyzes the challenges he faced as President of Stanford and talks about his present role as Editor-in-Chief of Science magazine. He also explores the evolution of relations between government and science.
During the Opencast Matterhorn Leadership and Planning Meeting, Allison Bloodworth and Judy Stern of UC Berkeley Educational Technology Services provided an overview of the Business Analysis and User Experience roles and processes. The Matterhorn BA/U Team was proposed as a unified team working together as a cross-project resource to help the Matterhorn team understand & design for user and business needs that will be more likely to be adopted and used successfully.
