Way back in the far off past of September 2011 Right as Kickstarter broke out and got all those high profile gaming projects funded two brothers calling themselves War Balloon pitched an epic Star Ship management game for iOS and Android in the vein of classic Sci-fi like Star Trek.
Then in July 2012 They launched another Kickstarter because they needed more money.
FInally, we have a release of the game on iOS, other versions will be coming in the future.
While we're still waiting for a playable dogfighting module youtuber and Star Citizen hacker AnythingFPS released a level which lets you muck around with the game and its assets.
Check out his excellent channel http://www.youtube.com/user/AnythingFPS
The map download and installation instructions are here

And before you start arguing, just realise that drawing any conclusions about spacecraft flight mechanics from this playground level is utterly pointless at this time.

After working for Juni I'm given some free time to explore the New York system, so I start looking for ways to make money that involve more than just blowing up hostile ships.

It's the end of november and we're swatting UFOs all over our airspace, and that means lots of crash sites to clear out. To make things happen a bit quicker I've skipped over most of the ground fights so we can get to the important stuff faster.

Eve Online is famous for being huge, complicated and not necessarily newbie friendly, so after several half asses tutorial videos where I kept on skimming over things I decided to do an in depth play through of what the new pilot should be doing. This is an epic series of videos with unedited gameplay and lots of talking from me, hopefully some of this rubs off on you.
You can find out more about Eve Online from the developers site

Shenzhen I/O was released towards the end of 2016 and was one of the few game I felt compelled to complete. After beating the first campaign I never followed up with the 'bonus' levels because they took longer than 20 minutes to solve.
The developer also added Steam Workshop support which supplied lots of fun puzzles, including one by the creator of Minecraft.
And for the 24th of September the game is discounted on Chrono.gg so if you fee like buying it for a bargain price and supporting me here's my affiliate link:

There's a lot of people concerned that the 0.21 update will break their existing saves & mods. While there's a save game converter it won't necessarily work for things landed on the mun, and mods will break. So here's a quick guide on how to back up your Kerbal Space Program directory so you can keep your mods and saved games playable even if the update breaks something.

KSP2 has had a troubled initial launch, being perhaps too early for early access despite the premium price tag, now we get the first major update and this goes a long way to adding a purpose to your rocket building, but, lacking purpose has rarely been the issue.

For many Julian Gollop is best known as the creator of the XCom series of games. However in 1985, years before the inception of XCom he created 'Chaos' one of the finest games released for any 8bit system, so good it still stands up today. I lost many hours to this game, playing against up to 7 other friends for dominance over the realm.
Chaos Reborn is a remake with much greater scope, modernised graphics and proper online play (no more making your friends look away as you make your moves). It's looking extremely promising and I can't wait for this to be developed beyond the prototype
