On April 11th, 2021, Duante Wright was shot during a traffic incident by officer Kim Potter, a 26-year-old veteran with the Brooklyn Center Police Department. Wright had a warrant for his arrest and the officer, while attempting to apprehend him, claims to have accidentally shot him by mistaking their pistol for a taser. Amid a range of riots now in their third day and shouts of Black Lives Matter, Officer Potter and the Brooklyn Center Police Department have both resigned. Influential leftist voicesoices among African-Americans from Attorney Ben Crump to Barack and Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris are all singing the similar tune: racial injustice, not an egregious error, determined Daunte Wright's fate. Some on the right are implicating that Mr. Wright may have deserved his fate given his criminal history and his attempt to evade capture. Mr. Watson, however, analyzes both claims through a philosophical paradigm that questions the "ubiquity" of self concerning events in the natural world. He also attacks the essentialist mentality of the leftist response for glossing over the problem of human fallibility in their analysis. He ultimately urges his listeners to recognize the importance of the external world and objective laws to forming sound conclusions.
In this video, Mr. Watson analyzes the Supreme Court's recent decision to strike down the Biden administration/CDC's eviction moratorium. SCOTUS has been criticized by several commentators for opening to door to "millions of evictions." Mr. Watson provides the philosophical basis, however, for the Supreme Court's decision and makes an impassioned case against what he calls "approximation ethics."

The ancient word "democracy" is being discussed once more amid the Russia-Ukraine crisis. Media outlets across the world are calling Ukraine a "democracy" and exhorting the West to defend the ancient ideal in the form of supporting it. Mr. Watson, however, examines the historical and moral foundations of democracy, and explains why it is fundamentally evil. He argues that democracy is no better than an autocratic form of government for various reasons. He reasserts the idea of natural law as a guiding principle for governance, and a fundamental respect of the individual as a concrete way of measuring such. Alas, America is a Republic, not a democracy. And that simple truth can save us from much trouble.

Conservatism and libertarianism are seen as both separate and similar ideologies in the public consciousness. Sometimes, individuals who identify as conservative are more closer to libertarianism and vice versa. Mr. Watson idiosyncratically deems himself a libertarian-conservative, causing many questions and claims of contradiction to arise from both allies and enemies alike. He explains what he means by the term in this video, and how the two ideologies are compatible using a method devised by 20th century philosopher Frank Meyer.

U.S. airman Aaron Bushnell recently set himself on fire infront of the Israeli embassy in Washington D.C., his last words being "free palestine." Bushnell's self-immolation suicide has elicited praise from a variety of leftist political figures, such as Cornel West, Owen Jones, and Jill Stein. In this video Mr. Watson provides a pro-America, conservative, philosophically based analysis on Bushnell's self-immolation, the reactions to it, and the general implications of this unfortunate event to American politics.

The 3rd anniversary of January 6th protests (J6) coincides with a new reality about the events of that day in 2021. In this video, Mr. Watson argues that the government and the deep state manipulated Americans and weaponized the event to push a subversive agenda. Watch for more!

The hashtag #bantheadl has been trending on Twitter/X over recent time. The corporate media has claimed the move to Ban The ADL from social media platforms is an extension of anti-semitism, whereas others claim the Anti-Defamation League is an enemy of freedom in all of it's forms and should not suffer consequences for their alleged behavior. In this video, Mr. Watson provides the principled, philosophical case against banning the ADL from social media or anywhere else in society. Watch for more!

Barack Obama recently held a speech at Stanford University concerning disinformation and democracy. In that speech, the former President called for regulations to combat "disinformation" on the internet. He claimed to be a free speech absolutist, but still decried "hate speech" and said it was incumbent upon tech companies to work with interest groups to regulate certain kinds of speech. Obama essentially used his speech to draft a framework for censorship, which is especially interesting amid the backdrop of Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter for $44 Billion dollars.
In this video, Mr. Watson provides a philosophic critique of Obama's foundational points to his argument, and more broadly talks about the importance of free speech to a free society. Watch for more.

"What is a woman?" That single asked question to Supreme Court Judicial nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson by Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennesse, - and her response - sparked an uproar across the country. Many on the right claimed that Jackson was behaving irresponsibly for declining to define womanhood by saying "I am not a biologist." Daily Wire's Matt Walsh capitalized on the situation and released the trailer to his new documentary "What Is A Woman?" Some other figures, however, immediately went to her defense. USA Today published an article which argued that there is "no clear way" to define womanhood. The central thesis of USA Today's article is that woman is a "social" designation, not one rooted in clear-cut observable physiology.
While the answer to this question may intuitively seem like "common sense," Mr. Watson takes that position a step further. In this video, he explores the postmodern origins of the phrase "What Is A Woman" and critiques feminist theorist Judith Butler for her theories, which he argues is at the root of this mass cultural confusion. With the power of philosophy, dynamism, and fiery rhetoric, Mr. Watson takes his viewers through a journey through the fog of postmodernism using the principles of the very tangible reality we all inhabit.
