Father of a Manchester Arena Bombing Victim asks me to read his speech

I was lucky enough to have been asked by the victims family to read the speech on their behalf.
Kevin had written his words down a few days before but felt it was too painful to read aloud so soon.

I’ll never forget the honour that was the phone call asking if I’d travel to Manchester to speak and read this on his behalf.
You may hear the words but you cannot feel what’s in the air and hear the grief the silent crowd can.

In this moment, we was all held together by the pain of an individual, the pain of our nation and a moment that will always be special to those who where there.
