Kerbal Space Program - Interstellar Quest - Episode 79
We're still building out the interplanetary spacecraft, in preparation for its epic mission of exploration. Part of this involves liberal application of space tape to make sure it's rigid enough to handle the stresses of space flight. Good thing that KAS lets me apply struts in space. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHz0VQqVX2o
Spending some more time playing around with Everspace, taking in the sights, killing the pirates, or getting killed.

400 years ago the first telescopes were used to study the skies, Galileo's largest telescope was believed to have an aperture of 33mm. From there the largest telescopes in the world steadily grew until modern large telescopes have mirrors over 10meters in diameter. We can follow the evolution of the astronomical telescope by looking at the largest telescopes in the world over the centuries.
I'm only covering optical telescopes, there are understandably larger aperture radio telescopes, but that's a whole separate story.
This wikipedia page included all the the telescopes I mention listed by date, but I skip many of the early ones as the telescopes weren't major installations until Herschel's 40 foot telescope.

KSP2 has had a troubled initial launch, being perhaps too early for early access despite the premium price tag, now we get the first major update and this goes a long way to adding a purpose to your rocket building, but, lacking purpose has rarely been the issue.

I mentioned I'd built this in a comment on my Mod list video, so, this really is a short video showing off its, admittedly limited, functionality.

Forget the livestream version, I have redesigned it and now everything works as planned - so lets see this reusable spacecraft concept working in KSP.

Everspace has just released a DLC expansion which includes a number of more interesting weapons, some characters with voiceovers and missions and a few extras here and there. I wish this had been in the core game because it made the otherwise monotonous roguelike spaceship shooting a whole lot more interesting. It's still as pretty as ever, fast and fun, but finally we get a bit more content to keep you interested. If you're already bored of the game I don't think this will bring you back, but if you're a new buyer it'll be a huge improvement.

Kerbal Space Program really wasn't designed with helicopters in mind, which is exactly why they're filled with such potential for explosiveness and therefore ideal for a livestream.

Pol gets conquered and on its surface we find the clue we needed to truly interstellar warp drive. Everyone else gets to come home in preparation for a grand voyage.

I got a comment that suggested 'Scott can make any game interesting', so I used the random steam game selector to try and see if this were true.
